I have been working at Lindenwood University part-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

The Department of Humanities creates life long learners. The English Department has an outstanding student centered program. The students were prepared for higher studies after Comp. I and II.

    Cons

The undergraduate program in Belleville is closing in the fall of 2020. More writing lab instructional time would be beneficial.

    Advice to Management

Keep enrollment to 20 or under to work personally with students who need directed individual instruction.

I worked at Lindenwood University full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Nice workers and a wonderful suburban campus

    Cons

The cover up of Shonrock's abrupt removal...and the careers wrecked by him and his henchmen/henchwomen who did his bidding.

    Advice to Management

Ethics, Ethics, Ethics. No amount of marketing will compensate a campus that presents a product of the highest quality.

I have been working at Lindenwood University full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

The faculty at Lindenwood are wonderful, and the university is open to new programs and ideas. Since it is a private institution, they can be nimble with new ideas.

    Cons

There is no tenure for faculty, and in the past year, staff positions have been cut suddenly. There are many locations, extension campuses, etc. and, thus, adjunct professors teach a large proportion of the courses.
