I worked at Linfield College part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

They do a really great job with working with your school schedule and study conflicts if you are a student.

    Cons

There aren't really any cons. Sometimes the work can get a bit monotonous, but other than that it is a nice work environment.

    Advice to Management

Thank you so much for prioritizing the students in this work environment, to make sure that school work is always the priority.

I worked at Linfield College full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Students are great
    Faculty are very pleasant
    Hours are great
    Benefits are fantastic

    Cons

Worst HR department I have ever dealt with in my life. Expect to meet someone from HR your first day and never again after that moment.
Salaries are very low considering the amount of hours/effort spent.
Heads of departments are kind of clueless to what is going on in their own department.
Certain employees you cannot trust with anything.

    Advice to Management

Don't just have yearly reviews based on managers reviews (they are usually bias or based on false information), actually interview people and figure out what or who are the problems in each department.

I have been working at Linfield College (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Many Community members and colleagues are dedicated to students and their education.

    Cons

Faculty and Staff have lost a sense of community. There has been a lot of turnover due to administrative changes. Technology outdated and unstable.

    Advice to Management

Focus on students and processes related to them getting the best education. Stop focusing on non-income generating objectives and circle back to programs that create a stable income. Feed the winners.
