I have been working at Linguistic Systems full-time

    Pros

Excellent benefits, great location, knowledgeable CEO, work life flexibility, room to grow. Lots of opportunity.

    Cons

A genuine lack of enthusiasm and direction from employees. A few abrasive personalities.

    Advice to Management

Create sales quotas and enforce them. Have expectations from employees. Create and maintain plans for driving business. Hire younger talent.

I worked at Linguistic Systems full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Kendall Square is nice (although extremely congested)

    Cons

Zero business plan, no such thing as forecasting or knowledge sharing. This business has been in serious decline for several years. The company is ultimately run by an incompetent older man. The interview process is extensive and you will be misinformed about the company finances, marketing budget, customer base. It's truly a sad state of affairs so do not bother!

    Advice to Management

    Retire....take a nap.
