    Pros

LINN was a very employee centric company. It was work hard and play hard and had a great culture that was instilled by the highest levels of management.

    Cons

Chapter 11 and new BOD decided to maximize value by divesting of most assets and employees.

    Advice to Management

Be weary of who you decide to partner with.

    Pros

Took care of employees that were eliminated through layoffs with health coverage, job placement help, and a decent severance package. Was fun early on, now is depressing to show up and pretend to like your job.

    Cons

Terrible morale in the Houston office, everyone is currently looking to leave, or waiting to get their severance paycheck and stock before quitting. Bosses are quick to put you down to make themselves appear better. Lastly, promotions are given out to those that don’t deserve it and suck up to the managers.

    Advice to Management

Improve morale at the office, create more incentives to stay employed and keep the common employees more informed with things instead of blindsiding employees all the time with layoffs and random announcements that nobody saw coming.
