      Pros

Good work/life balanace, 9/80 schedule, paid parking, average pay, and a lot of really talented employees.

      Cons

Unfortunately many of the talented employees left to go somewhere else. The CEO is great, but he does not seem to be running the place. So unless you are on the CFO’s favorite list, good luck!He ran off a lot of great upper management.

      Pros

It pays standard oil company fair. Upper management has built a stable company.

      Cons

No freedom or flexibility. Corporate automatons will do well. Police state.

It's not an easy place to work at....

      Pros

The people (who are not in upper management) are easy to work with. Benefits are average but better than most. One of the things people liked was the 9/80 schedule Linn offered. From what I heard, stock and bonuses given out was a very fair amount to everyone regardless of the position.

      Cons

If you are not a previous employee of Burlington Resources or play the office political games, you will never excel in this company. Many people were ousted because they did not fit the criteria above. There are a bunch of great and talented individuals who have left the company (on their own) because of this intoxicating environment. This company would be a great place to work if Linn management changed their demeanor and their ideals.
