    Pros

    Benefits
Ability to get promotions/recognition for hard work
    Culture/Work-Life Balance

    Cons

Employees are not paid market rate, or similar to others with the same title/responsibilities

    Office "politics"

    Advice to Management

Complete market rate analysis for all employees, make changes to ensure fairness

I worked at Liquidity Services full-time

    Pros

Network International was a great company to work for prior to the buyout. Management truly cared for its employees. Management had a great open door policy. There was a lot of room for growth.

    Cons

There was a lack of leadership. Once Network was purchased there was no direction for the company and employees were promoted to managers with no training and we were not held accountable for their actions.

I worked at Liquidity Services (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great team to work with. Learned a lot of things, though some of them were things not to do. Was able to affect some change, but it was fleeting.

    Cons

Management wasn't transparent, and worse pretended to be. Efforts to take feedback were plenty, but it always felt forced. Seems like clawing back up to the top continues leading to panic-centric decision making.

    Advice to Management

Basically you need to read and stick to the Agile methodology, valuing people over process. Adding more process will not fix your problem of too-much-process.

    Pros

Pay for senior sales executives are decent however, lower ranking project managers are not well paid. Some positions allow you to work from home.

    Cons

Scope of job requirements constantly changes, managers have a tendency to micromanage employees.

I worked at Liquidity Services full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

It started out great as I was promoted quickly.

    Cons

Management change which came with a strict stretch schedule and if you did not stand up and stretch you would be written up. It did not matter if you were on a call with a customer or other management members, had just sat down, or in the middle of an important assignment you were required to stand and stretch, break your focus and attention from the task at hand, or face a threat of punishment.

    Advice to Management

Treat employees with respect & not harass them for not following your strict "stretch" schedule. Also, not make comments out loud to employees that "kids are more trouble than they are worth" when one of their workers kids get sick and needs to leave to go and pick them up from school.

Flexible schedule , nice staff, good insurance, decent additional insurance options, diverse culture, always given the option to cross train if you wanted to.

    Cons

Bad pay, long. Hours, bad management, it is very hard to move forward and receive promotions at LSI... there just are not many avenues to take.

    Pros

Line managers really care about their team members. There is a real family feel in the DC-HQ and Arizona offices. Flexible work schedules for a good balance with personal responsibilities. Creative freedom. Relaxed culture.

    Cons

Leadership. As LSI has changed leadership the culture which made the company great is quickly vanishing and being replaced with nepotism and the good ol' boy network. Beyond the obvious lack of vision and direction the CLEC team has lost touch with the people that made LSI great.

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to the people that matter. Hold executives accountable. Dump Truck Center.

I have been working at Liquidity Services full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Offers excellent benefits and pay. Multiple opportunities in multiple locations throughout the U.S. and other countries. Great products and services that appeal to both buyers and sellers

    Cons

The company grew very quickly and had a lot of great success stories. This I believe to led to the eye being taken off the ball. With some recent mis-steps we are all now feeling the effects of management making decisions that take from the people who helped get the company to the top of it's game. Also, there are several marketplaces that make up LSI that are run separately and cause distractions.

    Advice to Management

Get back to the basics and let us do what we used to be able to do. Merge all marketplaces into one and become the next ebay, Amazon, etc.
