    Pros

Terrible work environment. You are just a number and mean nothing. Expect pay changes frequently, cost cutting so the GM can make more and you suffer...

    Cons

GM steals from sales people. Moves money around so there commissions are less. Do not even apply for any job with this company.

    Advice to Management

Open your eyes and do something.

I worked at Lithia Motors full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    The free coffee.
    Benefits.
    Location.
    Fresh meat
I really don't have anything positive to say but I have to write 20 words. This is a warning to anyone potentially looking to be gainfully employed.

    Cons

    Disgruntled workers
    Worst pay in the business
    Very low quality facilities
    Horrible pay structure
    Poor Work life balance
    Inadequate training
    Poor management
    No employee handbooks printed
    No work supplies ever
No one cares about the quality of their work
    No moral compass for management
Lies, lies, lies about potential earnings
Worst company to work for. Just don't! Take your time and look around just don't work here.

    Advice to Management

Just sell the company and let someone clean out your horrible pay structure and employees.

I worked at Lithia Motors full-time

    Pros

Great benefits, vacation time, great location, overtime

    Cons

Lack of professional from management and staff, when complaints are made nothing is ever done. Especially if complaints are made towards employees who have seniority

    Advice to Management

Fire employees when more than one complaint is filed by multiple employees. Go over your conduct cause your employees are having affairs with other employees. High level of stress involved while working in the office. Office employees belittle, go through other employees desk, work email, constantly look for problems instead of trying to fix them. Disrespectful to office manager by yelling and screaming and causing a hostile work environment. Management or HR do not discipline certain employees when constant complaints are made. Salesmen constantly sexually harass other female employees. Things really need to change at this establishment. It's an uncomfortable place to work and I have never been apart of an establishment as unprofessional and harassing as DCH TOYOTA

I have been working at Lithia Motors full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Many dealership too few VP's to manage their stores.

    Cons

VP's out of touch with reality, not interested in anything but their own boys. Great msg from the CEO, but what good is it when his VP's could care less. GM wings are clipped. no one listens to the people who are there working their assets 12-14 hours a day

    Advice to Management

We have seen your club boys screw things up, yet you still cover up for them and keep them in positions. Try and take care of the slaves that are doing the job and making you monies

I have been working at Lithia Motors full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Benefits are ok......... besides that, I got nothing of any substance. Think hard before selling your soul to this company.

    Cons

Current GM out of touch with his employees. They are disposable to him.
Service manager in over her head, makes one bad move after another.
Cadillac dealership taken away & given to another dealership effectively stripping all of the good employees of this once thriving dealership of their livelihoods. No offer of other job opportunities were given.
    Shame on you.

    Advice to Management

Why bother, they dont listen anyway.

    Advice to Management

Fix it and give people time to build a team

I worked at Lithia Motors full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Freedom without tradition 9 to 5 job structure. Free to go take care of errands when need be. Phone an internet use fine. No micromanagement which was my number one favorite thing.

    Cons

Long hours for low pay. Take your commissions divided by the hours an at times it feels like less than minimum wage. Constant promise of more money an advancement opportunity which never happen. Managers making 10k a month telling you it's never slow. Constant pressure of trying to make a pay check. Never knowing if you'll have enough for bills. Oh an the people are liars an snakes. Everyone is out for themselves. Don't get into the car business.

    Advice to Management

You don't have to lie to your employees. Try listening more instead of doing the same things over an over expecting different results.

I worked at Lithia Motors full-time

    Pros

Got none, no pros to working for this money hungry company.

    Cons

Personal experience at one of their dealerships; They don't care about customer service/their clientele or they're employees. They over work employees for terrible pay, expect employees to do the job of multiple people and don't hire anyone. They allow the dealership to fall and crumble and become so understaffed. All they care about is money and numbers. I would have stayed at my dealership forever, I wanted to build a career out of it, but to be one person doing the job of multiple people then getting made fun of by the Lithia appointed general manager for "scrambling" while he sat in his office yelling at people for why there are angry customers instead of helping solve the problem, that was too much. Terrible company, if they take over your dealership, get out and get out quick.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees like actual human beings, not underpaid slaves. Your employees are your best asset, they will make or break your business and if they all jump ship, you'll end up with nothing.
Also, treat your clients well and pay more attention to customer service. Quality>Quantity. Because eventually, the bad service will leave zero people coming back.
