    I worked at Little Caesar's part-time

    Pros

Good job for a high school student. Managers seem nice and value hard work. People like working there and are nice as well. Company offers opportunities for advancement.

    Cons

It's a minimum wage job! Restaurant work: Lots of hard manual labor. Washing dishes isn't fun. Neither is making Pizza, but work is work.

    Advice to Management

    Keep it up!

I worked at Little Caesar's (Less than a year)

    Pros

Very Fun environment to work in, everyone is very nice. every summer there was an employee trip to cedar point.

    Cons

Lots of drama because all the workers are in high school together. no mandatory breaks for workers that were minors.

    Advice to Management

keep doing what you're doing, schedule breaks for the young kids, and get rid of shaker boards. I've never been through hell like that before.

    Pros

Flexible schedule and easy for first time job. Easy to get promoted from crew to manager as long as you are a fast worker and learner.

    Cons

You can't work more than 4 and a half hours per day and have to deal with real snobby customers DAILY. Pay isn't worth the work that's being done.

I worked at Little Caesar's full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Managers are promoted from the crew very quickly, kitchen functions are easy to learn. Fast paced work environment prevents crew and manager boredom.

    Cons

Low pay for crew and management, store managers have limited autonomy, managers work overtime often and unpredictably (sometimes without compensation).

    Advice to Management

Take better care of good people, in terms of pay and ensuring work-life balance. Your high annual turnover is trying to tell you something.

I worked at Little Caesar's (More than a year)

    Pros

The hours were okay. The accommodated well for my schooling and eventually I was moved up to assistant manager after a year. Even though the pay was lacking, it was fair because the job isn't too taxing.

    Cons

The owner was terrible. Tried to pinch pennies anywhere he could. He started making us clock out if we needed to even take a drink of water. While he had just bought a new truck, we had leaks in the roof. When the inspector came they made a long list of things that needed to repair. He made us do jobs that were meant for pros and we got no compensation.

Eventually one night I was pulled aside by my manager at the time and said that this was my last night. I had no prior writeups or referrals. She didn't even want to fire me but the owner apparently wanted me gone. I still don't know what I did wrong to get fired.

Just be careful where you work and who you work for. Just do your job, kissing butt, and drink the company kool-aid.

Also the overturn was terrible. I was always training someone new.

    Advice to Management

Train your employees right and start hiring more professional workers. The less moody teens you have, the less overturn and random quitters you'll have.
