I worked at Littler Mendelson full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

A lot of 1 star reviews are fake. This firm makes a lot of enemies because the attorneys are good at their job. The 1 star reviews are from losing litigation opponents.

Was a great place to work.

    Cons

    Raises were a little small.

I have been working at Littler Mendelson full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The only pro I can Factually state is that their marketing team is very cunning and the management there also "plants" False information on the Internet and it's Obvious they're "planting" Bogus 5 star reviews here as well.

    Cons

Littler has racist office managers in the DC office. It comes out sideways and passive-aggressive but it's Definitely there.

    Advice to Management

Stop "planting" Bogus 5 star reviews on here and elsewhere, weirdos. Be who you say yoy are instead of engaging in deceptive marketing. You'd think it'd be easier to just perform the Essential functions of your job, which includes Not creating a Hostile work environment - but these clowns would rather waate their time "planting" False information on the Internet. Sad that they feel the need to do that instead of simply being the gold standard they say they are. So many Frauds and Bullies in the world and unfortunately Littler is one of them.

I worked at Littler Mendelson full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Collegial atmosphere, associates are generally non-competitive, and most (not all) shareholders are enjoyable to work with.

Lots of opportunities to grow and learn. Tons of resources, and you won't be stuck doing document review your first two years.

One of the best at diversity and inclusion.

    Cons

It's BigLaw, so it takes up a lot of time and energy. Clients have very high expectations. You will have to work at least some nights and weekends.

    No 401(k) matching for associates.

I have been working at Littler Mendelson full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The kindest thing that can be said about this firm is that they're Overrated.

    Cons

Poor leadership. Hostile work environment. Management has Transparency and Integrity problems. They're Not in this industry for the right reason.

    Advice to Management

Not convinced they Actually listen or care. In Fact - when concerns are brought to their attention they find "6 ways to sunday" as the old saying goes to get back at you. Which is Obviously Not Professional of them either. Like I said - this firm has Integrity issues.

    Pros

Offices are generally in good locations. Many parties (even during weak economy when other Businesses forgo Christmas parties, etcetera.)

    Cons

Wow - Too Many to possibly list here ... Plus seeing the Other Reviews - it's all already been said.

And you can tell the last 2 Five star reviews of Kansas City were PLANTED by the firm.

If I could give them No stars I would.

They don't even deserve 1 star.

(They Obviously need an option for 0.)

    Advice to Management

Be Professional. Improve your Reputation in the Community. And in the Legal Industry. They're pretty Shameless people though - They Don't care.

Ironically even though they throw lots of parties - the Work/Life Balance and Culture and Values Categories are WAY below what a Law Firm of this supposed Caliber should be - which is Essential to the Values of Any Labor Law Firm. And this Law Firm DEFINITELY Lacks that.
