I worked at Live Nation Entertainment full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

I've seen more shows and concerts than most can ever imagine. I've met great people and had a time of my life. Most local employees are really good and fun then be with.

    Cons

You have to choose if you want to have a personal life or work life, but you can't have both. I've seen more lives and families destroyed from people who work for LN as a career choice. It is a very big good old boy network. Good employees have been fired because their boss doesn't like them, most of the time because they question their actions. I'd love to see a book about the scandals and dark secrets of Live Nation.

    Advice to Management

Don't be greedy and pay your employees more, especially the ones who give their life to you. Stop covering the secrets of your long time good old boy employees. Learn from Weinstein, you have enough of them on your staff too.

Fun coworkers - mostly everyone is personable and easy to work with
Casual work environment - casual work attire, relaxed atmosphere even though it is still fast-paced

Holiday parties - Facilities puts together entertaining office parties for the holidays
Decent benefits - average benefits package
    Ability to move up
    Good work/life balance

    Cons

Compensation is not as high as other places. You feel undervalued when you are not being paid as much as you are worth, while upper management spends money on hiring new people into new upper management positions

    Advice to Management

Value your lower level employees and provide them with opportunities of growth. Don't cut costs on valuable employees
