I have been working at LiveOps full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Lots of opportunity exists as the management team cleans up employee issues and brings in new and better talent. The company is building better technology than its competitors and is evolving the BPO business with its customers building better programs and independent contractor loyalty... Watch out for new agent rewards programs coming out.
I have never heard the CEO tell people to rate LiveOps a 5....only that he encouraged people to have a voice and at least put their opinions out there... Only people who go to Glassdoor initially are the unhappy ones, so I am a happy one and here to say that many of the people complaining about LiveOps are the ones removed for not doing their job. The company is hiring...but is transitioning the business to move faster. If you like making a difference, and want to work with people who are fun and hard chargers...come over to LiveOps. It is not a place for people who want to come in at 10am and leave at 3pm.

    Cons

Company needs to be more public about the great customers who love the technology and the new companies launching on the agent business. Stealth is not always better when you have so many good things happening.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing...whenever you change out poor performers they whine but you are moving in the right direction.

I have been working at LiveOps full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I have worked for LiveOps for 3 years participating in every opportunity presented to me. We are a fun company to work for, we put in a lot of hard work to make sure that we are the the best that we can be. LiveOps is the most flexible company that I have ever worked for. My cellphone is paid for, I am able to telecommute when needed, the people are awesome, our new CEO is taking this company in a great direction and I am grateful and blessed to work here.

    Cons

I am a team of one and could really use a collaborator or two in my location or a small team of people instead of just myself.

    Advice to Management

We work long hours 24x7 and really need more resources. In my previous life, there was was more than one person handling change and problem management, along with notifications and new customer onboarding. I love my job but sometimes I feel like I can't keep up and I let my other team members down.

    Cons

    Training program could be improved.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work!

    Pros

    Flexibility
    Fun
I'm trusted to do what I need to do to get the job done
    Opportunity to innovate
Working with some of the smartest people I've met!
We support community through donations and matching gifts

    Cons

I'd be lying if I didn't admit that it is difficult to get, what I consider properly resourced. This means that either things fall to the floor or that you work long days - it depends on how you deal with it.

    Advice to Management

Please spend time finding the formula for success on the front lines, and then commit to it. Whether it is bodies, technology, or not taking certain business - all of us want the same thing - success for LiveOps, the Agents, and the Customers. Without that none of us win.

    Pros

    Free food 2x week
    Bring your dog to work
Bar on the second floor with kegs
There are fun people to work with here and there.

    Cons

    High pressure for DR team
No pushback on client requests that are out of scope
Significant unprofessional behavior amongst the team

    Advice to Management

There is nothing that hasn't already been communicated to leadership at either all-hands meetings, exit interviews or other venues. Overall, its a great place to have on your resume, but a horrible experience to get there.

    Pros

If you worked with key people at other companies or went to Cal or Columbia with them, you have a good shot at fitting in.

    Cons

Lots of people running around with their hair on fire pointing fingers and blame to save themselves. Not a very collaborative environment.

    Advice to Management

Do a serious review of mid level management effectiveness.

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

You are Workaholic and you think that you will get rich from yet another Start up. Their product is decent but their Professional Services team is overworked and under appreciated. Maybe another area of the organization would be a better fit.

    Cons

Too many work hours per week
    Poor Director-level management
Very big egos to contend with
    Ridiculous commute from San Francisco

    Advice to Management

None. They get paid the big bucks to figure it out.
