I worked at LiveOps as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

The system was very easy to manage. Training went fast and was easy to learn. I thought it was fun to do upsells and people calling in were generally friendly and wanting to order from Infomercials. The work from home aspect is great..

    Cons

Trying to get hours is so difficult especially when you are starting out. It is hard to depend on any income sometimes I have sat waiting for hours to open up and if you dont get calls you don't get paid.

    Advice to Management

Hire more effectively, maybe start everyone at high rating and then deduct rating based on infractions not the other way around.

I have been working at LiveOps as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

You can set your own schedule. You work at home. After you have proven your quality and reliability on the basic lines, you can move on to better paying work. There are several different lines to choose from in sales, insurance, and customer service. If your metrics show an aptitude for a certain line, you will be invited to that line. The company has recently added a much-needed IT help desk for workers.

    Cons

Like any company with a large amount of workers, there is an impersonal metrics system to determine a worker's quality of output. There is no flexibility in the rules, but that is not an unusual situation.

    Advice to Management

Add a few more states for your workers to operate in.

    Pros

They are a really good company it's a really good work at home Job.

    Cons

My only complaint is its hard to get work, the schedule rolls out on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday but even if you are logged on and ready to commit. All commits are gone

    Advice to Management

Have more commit roll outs. Because there is people who really would like to give there all to the job but cant.

I have been working at LiveOps as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexible hours, work-at-home, they do most of the work of invoicing, fun to work for

    Cons

Often work is slow while being paid only for actual talk time, not time waiting for calls. There is constant negative criticism. 50 percent is totally unfounded. It is a dificult economy and job market. I don't like companies who blame the workers.

    Advice to Management

Great people on staff. Enormous amount of potential. I can't quite recommend it because of the negative feedback, much of which is unfounded.
