            Pros

Flexibility is there when you need it.

            Cons

Low pay, CRAZY LOW call volume, unpaid training, poor communication by corporate team, difficulty to even secure commits (scheduled time on the phones), lack of support. Lack of stability - if you are lucky enough to snag a client that you like, don’t get too attached and excited. If they don’t abruptly cancel the opportunity while you’re in the middle of your certification class, the chances are still pretty high that the client will pull out of the partnership with LiveOps, leaving you with absolutely no work available and with no warning. This company has lost several big (and good) clients recently and it’s scary.

              Pros

You can work as an independent agent and work your own schedule. You don’t have to worry about an interview to get hired.

              Cons

The training is terrible. The material format seems to be all over the place. It’s mostly self learning and figuring things out on your own. The instructors treat everyone as if they already know company acronyms. The learning material is crammed too fast in one day. You don’t get paid for training.

Thank you for the review. We strive for an excellent agent experience and apologize if we fell short of expectations. Agents are independent contractors, and there is a certain level of individual motivation and effort that is required to be successful in this opportunity. If you want to share on your experience and certification program, feel free to email hello@liveops.com with more information.

                  Pros

Plethora of information on the website to learn new information on various topics..

                  Cons

The companies needing remote workers are available through direct contact. It takes too long to go through the onboarding process through this 3rd party.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience as an Independent Contractor with us. Due to the sensitive information that independent contractors handle every day, Liveops clients require that independent agents pass a background check to handle their calls. We understand the hesitation, and also understand this is not for everyone, and appreciate your time here.

                    Business Outlook

                    Pros

                    * Application process is very easy * 100% Work from home * Many contract opportunities * In-depth training * Create your own schedule * You are your own boss * Tons of support, (by way of systems and people)

                    Cons

                    * Training is unpaid * Invoicing is a bit unclear * You must invest in your own (required) equipment, computer with certain specs/capabilities, headsets and dual monitors * Once training/certification (up to 4 weeks in some cases depending on the program) is complete shifts are sparse or non existing so even after 4 weeks of unpaid training you still aren’t able to work. Shifts/“commits” are supposedly rolled out weekly for independent business owners (you) to “commit to” but because they roll the available shifts out in tiers (older contractors get 1st dibs) the are no shifts for new contractors to select, with the exception of specific schedules that other contractors post on the trade board because they are not able to work the shift. * There seems to be more contractors than available shifts.

                      Business Outlook

                      Pros

Reputable clients to work for that pay a decent rate. Great for SAHM, students, teachers for summer, and extra money. You can work fulltime and make a decent income if you’d like.

                      Cons

Depending on your client, the workflow can be slow at various times of the year causing your income to decrease. Also, if a client leaves LiveOps, you have to certify (unpaid) for another client which takes 2-3 weeks. Your schedule is not guaranteed. You have to secure your hours weekly when the schedule is uploaded online.

Hi there - we appreciate the time you took to share your experience as an Independent Contractor with Liveops and your feedback. The opportunities are definitely great for a variety of people, and we're glad you enjoy the client selection. Thank you!

                        Pros

You are able to pick your own schedule based on the hours of operation for the client you certify for. Once you graduate certification you can pick up new clients. All positions are remote.

                        Cons

Some clients are seasonal or do not have enough hours to pick from. It is crucial to choose a client that suits your needs and what you think you can handle. Training is not paid due to being an independent contractor, You are considered your own business. So, you will need to supplement your income until you pass certification.

That is a great call out! The flexibility to schedule your own hours is one of the best perks of being an independent agent with Liveops. Opportunities are dictated by our clients' needs and volume, and there is a general seasonality with a few programs. Keep an eye on the opportunities dashboard for openings. Senior Resource Manager

Last Thursday and Friday I interviewed with 2 hiring managers for 2 different companies. Both of them said they’d like me to progress to the next interview and the recruiter would reach out. One company said they wanted a offer out this month so it would be a quick process. I sent thank you emails and references. I haven’t heard from either recruiter. I had the recruiter screening and hiring manager interview just days apart, I thought I’d hear back by now. Thoughts?!
