I have been working at Liverpool Football Club and Athletic Grounds part-time

    Pros

I work with a great team of people, and the matchday atmosphere is amazing! I also know a lot of our regulars, and they (along with my colleagues) all make working at the stadium so much easier. Every day is different, and time flies by in this fast-paced environment.

    Cons

    Sometimes stressful, but that's expected!

I worked at Liverpool Football Club and Athletic Grounds part-time

    Pros

Relatively easy work, waiting on tables, cleaning tables and clearing the room.
You get to watch the matches on televisions within the hospitality lounges.
You get fed by the same chefs who cook for the customers.
Working at one of the most famous football stadiums in the world.

    Cons

    Occasional rude customers.
Sometimes they make you hand in your tips to be shared with people who haven't put in the effort with customers that you have.
No parking on site, the nearest place to park is over 15 minutes away and local buses are extremely unreliable.
Long times sitting around doing nothing due to being called in to work up to 6 hours before kick off.
Irregularity of shifts due to only working for home games.
At times hectic management, with changes being made every shift by upper management who have nothing to do with your room, then the next game everything will be back to normal.

    Advice to Management

Make any changes to the management of each hospitality room before the start of the season, not during it as it confuses staff and demotivates us.
Don't make staff hand tips in as it is unfair.
Don't call us in to work 5-6 hours before kick off.

I worked at Liverpool Football Club and Athletic Grounds full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Large company and very interesting business for people with an interest in football. Good management overall and good work for employee retention

    Cons

Since Liverpool FC have not done as well on the field lately, this has been somewhat reflected on the business side of the club, in terms of less opportunities.

    Advice to Management

Overall, very good management. However, should be more open for young people knocking on the door for higher positions.
