    I worked at LivingSocial full-time

    Pros

Great people and very supportive team culture. Very friendly environment. Great benefits, gym, 401k, good insurance plans. Very central office location-easy to commute. Good salary if you negotiate and have a good experience to offer. Good place to begin your career and to get some working experience.

    Cons

Not always clear about the direction where the company is going. Communication on the upper management- employee level is not always good.

    I worked at LivingSocial full-time

    Pros

You will make some awesome friends and forge lasting friendships Heath and Dental Benefits It's a job. It will pay your bills for the most part

    Cons

They do not value their Sales Employees Upper Management is mediocre, has no idea what they are doing. Discriminatory and inappropriate behavior goes on a lot and no one is reprimanded No Transparency If you ask questions they either won't get answered( because they don't know) or your job will be threatened because you will seem too "agressive" No potential for Growth They pay is awful. We are in D.C. how do you expect for us to survive on this below market salary? Passive Agressive Micro-Managing

    Cons

Company is controlled by upper management most likely not in your city, makes company-wide changes more difficult.

    I worked at LivingSocial

    Pros

Tons of growth, new company. Great pay for the work you do. Amazing environment and great people. For entry level it is the dream job.

    Cons

Not very good communication between HQ and Managers a are constantly over worked. There isn't a ton of delegation for them. They are required by Upper management to be on call, to work 16 hour days sometimes and work on several huge projects at once. All with deadlines around the same time, making it hard to prfioritize what is more important to do

I worked at LivingSocial full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Super fun work culture. Unlimited coffee and snacks. Good money for the somewhat easy work you're doing. Good place for recent college grad to gain experience. Really awesome work-life balance. Overall a good experience.

    Cons

Unorganized upper management and an unsustainable business model. The goal to get so many deals up and running on the site leaves little opportunity to take a consultative approach on actually helping these businesses to set up a good deal. I would love to say I would recommend working here to a friend, but because of how shakey the company is, I really can't.
