You can make money.....if they want you to.

    Jan 16, 2023 - Insurance Agent
    Recommend
    CEO Approval
    Business Outlook

    Pros

Positive atmosphere. 100% commission and 10-99 contractor.

    Cons

If you focus on anything else but what they want you to do, even if it is personal. You will pay for it. Upper management is to concerned with keeping their income potential high, which leads to other personnel losing income. Everyone gets promoted as long as they like you, you are positive and can write a sale or two a week.

Promises the world, fails to deliver

Jul 12, 2022 - Agent in Schaumburg, IL

    Pros

Free Insurance training program that teaches to the insurance exam effectively

    Cons

Worship of Hustle Culture. Cult of personality built to feed the CEO's ego. Zero work/life balance. Zero guaranteed employee benefits. Training is unpaid. $0 Salary, pay is exclusively commission-based. Dishonest recruitment practices: Promises of "setting your own schedule" disappear when the CEO is telling/expecting you to work 7 days/week, promised leads never materialize and you're told to exclusively do your own lead generation, compensation expectations are set based on success stories, not the typical experience. In one week I witnessed the CEO scream at an employee for yawning during a late meeting, and shame an employee for missing a meeting because their car broke down. This organization is built on the backs of turn-and-burn employees that are used to work individual teams into new markets with no transparency about actual opportunity provided during recruitment. The financial products they sell are wildly overpriced and they prey on underserved and uninformed customers that are likely to lapse on premiums, but only after sales managers are cleared of any commission chargebacks.

    Pros

I cannot think of one nice thing to say about this place.

    Cons

They are very deceptive. They promise you everything and deliver nothing. They will work you to death. They say you can pick your hours but it is a complete lie. Most people quit after two months.
