      Not what they tell you

      Pros

You can make a lot of money if you’re a good at sales, but don’t care about what a person really needs.

      Cons

I was told there would be paid training and was assured I wouldn’t be cold calling people, but first week after training was cold calling. The team leaders were very aggressive for sales because they make money off of the new sales people. It’s essentially a pyramid scheme.there was this really weird cult like feeling when management wanted you to message them every morning when you wake up and every evening when you go to sleep. Super weird. Also I didn’t make a dime for the month I put into working hard there.

      Pros

You can make a lot of money if you can dedicate yourself to working 7 days a week when you first start. Lloyd is one of the few agencies within the whole company that gets to interact with the owner of Lloyd on a weekly basis. You are well recognized for reaching your weekly goals and they have one of the most generous bonus setups I've seen. You could be sitting next to someone who made 50,000.00 last year or 1,000,000.00 last year. That is exciting and doesn't happen in business that often. There is no cap on what you can make which allows you to create wealth for your family. Lloyd is the top agency in the entire organization that it's under.

      Cons

You have to pay for every license you get. You can only have licenses for the states that your manager has it in. That could only be one state. That can be limiting, especially if you were looking forward to setting up family members in other states you may travel too. Lots of time spent away from your family to be successful which is stressful. Somewhat outdated use of technology in the presentation and paperwork. Ever revolving door of employees. It's not uncommon to see someone one day and not see them the next. You will put lots of miles on your car because you are driving to meet clients wherever you can do so. You will spend lots of money on gas. Being a commission only job can be an issue for some if they have no sales for the week. Medical benefits are not automatically given to employees after so many days of hire.

      This is a SECT!

      Pros

If you have a lot of family members or friends and they need insurance you can earn a lot of money.

      Cons

They call to people and offer them no cost benefits and when somebody invite them to the house, after no cost benefits they try to sell insurance. You have to work a lot of hours per day (during the interview they told you that it will be flexible hours) This is only a commission. If you start working there say bye to your life.

Know your rights before you work here

      Pros

With their pay plan, you can make a lot of money in a short time span. do not expect this when you start.

      Cons

You are an Independent Contractor, NOT an employee. They should not force and bully you to be in the building for training or anything at all. And most of all they can not fire you if you meet the minimum requirements in your contract. And this is where they get you. When you are new and learning everything, you wont make a the minimum amount of results . for some it could take a month, for most it will take 3 or more. You will be forced and bullied to follow orders until you can meet the minimum through this time of hell. Do not work here unless you are prepared to give your whole life to this company for 3 months.
