I worked at Lloyd Staffing full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Knowledgeable mentors who share their time and expertise. Nice offices, stable company, great colleagues!

    Cons

I left for more money but I know now that isn't the only thing. My new boss is a mean tyrant and my colleagues treat the new kid like a nobody. I tell my candidates no situation is perfect and now I am living proof. Thinking of reaching out to Lloyd and see if they will consider rehiring me.

I worked at Lloyd Staffing full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

If you like soul crushing Satellite music all day, Village People 5x hour, and working with your aging and bitter Aunts and Uncles all day... go right ahead... did I mention the chain smokers and back stabbers, wolves dressed as sheep.

    Cons

NOT ONE new hire stays longer than 6-8 weeks before quitting or getting fired. Out of touch with reality / College Grads beware.

    Advice to Management

Family owned / operated 40 years... acorns don't fall far from their tree... but some roll down hill...
Discussions with Management are like talking to a wall... No, at least a wall doesn't make you feel like a pile of mud in that situation...

I have been working at Lloyd Staffing full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

-Some of the individuals are great to work with.
-They have offices on Long Island as well as other locations.

    Cons

-Absolutely no investments in their employees. Even a simple CRM system for the entire company doesn't exist.
    - Management has no idea why there is rapid turnover and blames it being "standard in the industry." It is not standard. People are leaving because of poor leadership. Management is run by two professionals who have no idea what it is like to be a recruiter, but has no problem micro managing.
    - Company morale and synergy don't exist. - No quality of life for new hires.
    - No real training program.

    Advice to Management

It would never happen, but maybe get somewhere in here who has ACTUALLY been in this business? Management has no idea what their employees REALLY do day to day. Nor do they understand the business. Bring back the founder.

I worked at Lloyd Staffing full-time

    Pros

Known well in Long Island area. Get a lot of incoming business because of this. Company has nice looking office.

    Cons

Too much micro management. Way too much change, just for the sake of change. Company also has a lot of turnover.

    Advice to Management

Bring up employee moral by letting the people you hired do what they were hired for. Stop changing things just to change.
