    Has a very friendly environment. Was able to get along with coworkers easily. Great for anyone looking for a part time job.

    Unionized
    Health and dental coverage
    Flexible hrs

    Low guarantee hrs for PT staff
    Not enough training
    Raises are very small amount for new staff members
    Communication not very good

    Advice to Management

    We work for the same team.
    Communication and understanding go a long way.
    A positive work place will always produce a much better productive employee.
    Give more recognition to those who deserve it.
    Give the same amount of respect as you wish to receive.

    I have been working at Loblaw part-time (More than 5 years)

    -health insurance
    -Dental
    -For a part-time positon while in school its good enough
    -they treat there employees well

    Cons

    -pay is medicore
    -instead giving a raise they did not as it coincided with minimum wage raising

    Advice to Management

    -pay raises should be quicker

    Talented people. Large budgets to work with. Lots of opportunties to move laterally through the organization, but not up.

    Cons

    Many layers. Boys club. Competitive. Frequent restructuring.

    Get to know the talent within and implement fair hiring practices.

    Pros

    Great employees. Pay is good. Benefits are great. Been here for 8 years. Its like a second family here. Plus we get a 10 percent discount

    Sometimes no help when it gets busy. Somedays they are very late for lunches and breaks. Which can be annoying

    It's a job puts money into your bank. You'll met the stupid people. they got some of the dumbest managers. Seen my bias ride the walk behind power jack
