I have been working at Lockheed Martin full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Overall good company; can't be #1 for 20+ years and not doing something right. Have seen strategic hiring instead of reactive hiring; good way to get good people acclimated to company culture before starting a project and being somewhat sequestered at a client site. Lot's opportunity for career broadening and enhancement. In some cases, even opportunities of career change as emerging projects needs evolve.

    Cons

Depending on where you work, the managerial chain could be somewhat long. Could at time make things slow for resolution if you have issues. However, that is to be expected in a company so huge.

    Advice to Management

    Make good on recent initiatives.

    Pros

Awsome company. Great enviorment and saftey oriented. Great pay. Safe work enviorment

    Cons

Seeems to be some red tape at times when trying to complete a task. But being the type of work we do this is expected

    Advice to Management

Me being a new employee....I would say take the advice of some of the older workers that have been there 15 or more years. Also sometimes the atmosphere can seem like other departments are not a part of the team and try to out other departments. It should be a one team atmosphere. And help each other out so we can be successful and get more contracts. Not lets put this depaetment down or make them feel threatened constantly. We need a one team mentality.
