I worked at Lockheed Martin full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Work seems to be interesting once get into the daily routine of things. The people are friendly and seem to be helpful.

    Cons

Prior to starting, it's almost impossible to get information on health insurance, 401(k), vacation time, and etc. When I finally talked to an HR rep on the phone, I was told the health insurance deductible and cost were much lower than they actually are. The benefits are complete crap for such a large company. If I would have known the benefits were so bad, I wouldn't have left my former employer for the salary I was offered.

    Advice to Management

Be honest with prospective employees on the details of the benefits being offered.

    Cons

This is not the place you want to go if you're a young business school grad looking to develop skills to improve as a business person.

    Advice to Management

Training for young employees has to improve.

I have been working at Lockheed Martin full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Caring company. A great culture of volunteering. Big donor. Great projects. potential to move upward and sideways.

    Cons

Salary increases should be based on performance. But performance should not be an excuse to eliminate salary increases. Too much caring about Stakeholders.
