I worked at Lockheed Martin full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

If you need a structured day/week/career, you'll love being there. Salary seemed competitive the 5 years I was there. There are pretty good benefits available.

    Cons

Lots of time, effort and thought invested in inclusion. Great place to be if you want to celebrate being in a protected class. Seems to be lots of levels of supervision.

I have been working at Lockheed Martin as an intern

    Pros

The two teams I've worked on very different... pros vary based on your preference and what team you get. But luckily you can switch teams without too much trouble

    Cons

Some teams are so big that you will spend a lot of time waiting on things to come back down from the higher up positions

"Good internship experience, but not an ideal FT role"

I worked at Lockheed Martin as an intern (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Internship program had a lot of swag, lunch-and-learns, and after work events throughout the course of the internship
    - 9/80 Work Schedule was fantastic
    - Company has good flexibility (i.e. working from home when needed for FT employees when needed), good work/life balance
    - Definitely seeing the change in the makeup of the Finance dept, more younger people are taking up roles and shaping the company
    - Employees are approachable and very friendly, eager to share more info and provide career insights
    - Exposed to challenges through working on my intern project
    - Lots of future growth in the industry

    Cons

    - Work was mundane and repetitive at times.
    - Naturally, there was a fairly steep learning curve and did not have much of a formal training structure (be prepared to learn quickly on the job)
    - Buddy/mentor system was useless
    - Work cube was very spacious, however, the facility was outdated and dull. In addition, the company is making a move to a newer building which may reduce cube space in early 2018.
    - Career opportunities, while present, were very slim (it could be easy to be stuck in a role for a long time). Furthermore, FT offers are not competitive.

    Advice to Management

If I recall, employees in some Grand Prairie facility are being moved to another new building. Don't put people in a cramped windowless space!
