    "Do not work here"

    Pros

Pays well and has decent (but pricey) benefits.

    Cons

Most of the attorneys have no idea how much work the support staff does, nor do they appreciate it or attempt to understand why things are done a certain way in order to support the firm. Administration is incompetent. Allows for a hostile work environment. Office never closes early preceding a holiday (even when all attorneys/paralegals have left).

    Advice to Management

Open your eyes. Learn to treat staff better. Listen to the people that are in the trenches day to day. Don't keep people that perpetuate a hostile work environment and make poor judgments, including senior leadership. Work/life balance could be improved based on hiring more staff and not running so lean. Casual Fridays would have been nice.

    Pros

Century City is a great location.

    Cons

Extremely high benefits that most arent able to afford (including some attorneys). No vision insurance though we sit in front of a computer daily. Hostile work environment due to management allowing attorneys to yell at staff. Management is aware however due to attorneys bringing in revenue nothing is done about it. No work/life balance.

    Advice to Management

Casual fridays would be nice. Stop allowing attorneys to yell and demean staff!!

I worked at Loeb & Loeb full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

While I was at the firm, the firm culture promoted a high-class professional environment, intelligent and very well-managed organizational structure, encouraged growth and development through training programs for associates and paralegals, passionate and highly skilled attorney staff, a true sense of belonging and wanting to do your very best, and a strong compensation and benefit package offered to all employees.

    Cons

Work life balance could sometimes be a challenge even when not preparing for and participating in trials or arbitrations, and case staffing needs sometimes could not be met.

    Advice to Management

Continue seeking out and hiring a diverse group of professionals at the entry, mid and senior levels to create a well-balanced staff.
