    Pros

    Local management are the best. Great co-workers who are smart, carry their load and are helpful team players. 20 minute walk from office to bluffs that overlook the Pacific Ocean. Near Isle Vista and Santa Barbara with all of the advantages of California without the big metropolitan area hassles.

    Cons

    Logmein has lost presence in the market place to Zoom. Hedge fund active investors will be taking the company private soon. Key people have gone to Appfolio in Goleta.

    Pros

    Good benefits, great offices, products that were great at one time.

    Cons

    Innovation lacking. So many restructures, lay offs, etc., the hits keep coming. Leadership not willing to make clear decisions and go with them. During large merger, "took eye off the ball" with most profitable product and let competitors take over market leadership. Now everything is reactive to competitors instead of proactive.

    Pros

    The people in the local office, amazing! Most came from an acquisition. Hard working, dedicated, loyal and a real start up mentally to get it done. There was appreciation for my many accomplishments and the value of my leadership skills and style by others outside my department. Which kept me motivated to want more for myself and my team.

    Cons

    Executive leadership set in their ways and very biased. Not willing to accept or embrace the need for change or recognize their lack of diversity in hiring. They make decisions without recognizing consequences and have no idea what is going on outside of headquarters or closer to the front line.

    Mostly friendly culture with young population, lot of focus on socializing, great community service work.

    Cons

    Portfolio of products approach without any glue to tie them together is not a recipe for growth.

    Pros

    U.S. salaries were in the ballpark of competitive.

    Cons

    Executive leadership was way, way, way out of their league in thinking they could operate at 3,000+ employees after acquiring Jive, and before that, GetGo. Arrogance, greed, and buffoonery at the VP+ level in Boston drove all the quality people away (whether by hostility, neglect, or layoff), and also drove the company into the ground. It's absolutely stunning to see Francisco Partners take over after so many quarters of lost marketshare to Zoom and other far better teams, and for LMI to have pretty much zero global brandshare in the age of Covid-19. Pathetic.

    Good work life balance... 'Unlimited' time off.

    Cons

    Lot of layoffs and office closures over the past couple of years, losing market position in key products... Uncertainty after takeover by private investors 2019.. Often changing benefits/policies that results in salary reduction...
