    Pros

Able to walk to nearby places to eat, location in West Port Plaza.

    Cons

The moral at this location in Missouri is extremely low! Not a lot of happy employees, but employees who would rather leave! High call volume, stressful environment, and not a happy one. Customer complaining constantly about software issues! Angry phone calls and it takes a lot of time to reply back to the customer so in return you'll hear it on your end.

    Advice to Management

Treat everyone the same! Listen to your employees and offer feedback or positive compliments, and acknowledge them for a change.

I have been working at Logibec Groupe full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    - Location
    - People
    - Social advantages
    - Schedule
    - Social Activities
    - Products of interest in the field of health care.

    Cons

The environment is negative in terms of development. The management wants to impose a new vision and imposes on the developers many changes impacting the already established teams.

Loss of many experience programmer following the imposition of the use of a partnership with an external company, division of teams ....

Always behind on the evolution of new software and some technologies used are not interesting for a programmer or already outdated.

Improvisation of the implementation of agility according to theoretical concepts of an external firm. Brings a lot of discussion instead of focusing on product development.

    Advice to Management

Ask your developer their opinions and trust them.

Do not be afraid to go ahead with new technologies, even if health field is not ready.

I have been working at Logibec Groupe full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

If you're looking for a place where you won't be too challenged, where things won't change that much, that fast, then Logibec might be a good fit.

    Cons

Technical challenges are not necessarily part of the day to day, and you will spend more time trying to deal with human issues than required

    Advice to Management

Refocusing around key products instead of trying to maintain all the 35 year old portfolio might help the company to rise above maintenance and support nightmares in order to really innovate.

I worked at Logibec Groupe full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

They seem to be very open to using new technologies if you're interested in learning new things. On the other hand, some of their products are based on older technologies if you want to stay with that.
    Good people overall.

    Cons

Management by buzzword (teamwork, agile, blablabla...)
They seem to have trouble getting products out the door. It's frustrating working on a project where you don't know how or when it is going to end.

    Advice to Management

Make sure your middle managers have taken a management course or two (and not just some buzzword-based seminar). Most of the managers I worked with were very nice people, but that doesn't make them good managers.

I worked at Logibec Groupe full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

warm and friendly people, simple and open. BI department is famous for its friendship between colleages and mutual help. Competitive salaries, good working conditions, good benefits.

    Cons

Unclear leadership. IT directors are not very contemporary, not innovative and not for the lack of trying. It is just that new technology and new metodolgies are applied blindly without good understanding and knowledge. Most high managers are there not for their abilities but thanks to the protectorate. So mainly managment is overly cautious and do everything to stay in their chairs.

    Advice to Management

Value people for their true professional worth, and not for their political friendships. Invest in what you already have instead of acquiring new. Get younger and bolder IT directors.

    Pros

best coworkers which is the main reason for many to stay there, plenty of work and the salary isn't bad

    Cons

management is lacking vision and has poor staff management, but there's some changes lately which might help the situation

    Advice to Management

they need to improve the communication with the employees and share the vision, also make more room for the human ressources team, they try to improve the situation

I have been working at Logibec Groupe full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Office is in a nice location in old Montreal. Stable work environment with established solutions.

Good work-life balance and relatively low stress.
     Good salary.

In house promotions give lots of opportunities for lateral movements or career growth.

    Cons

Development process is heavy and somewhat stiffles innovation in favor of a more risk free & comfortable approach. Resistant to go off the known path.

A lot of long time employees bring a culture of not doing an extra efforr, clocking there time and not pushing the boundaries.

Reactive development cycle is good at answering expressed market needs but not at staying one step ahead.

    Advice to Management

In a competitive industry, give your employees a chance to shine, innovate and produce state of the art solutions. Try to push people and get them out of their comfort zone.

I worked at Logibec Groupe full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    - Emplacement
    - Individus
    - Avantages sociaux
    - Horaire
    - Luminosité des bureaux

    Cons

    Advice to Management

Aucun. Il est trop tard. Trop de ressources ne pourraient obtenir le même poste s'ils sortaient du cadre de l'entreprise.
