I have been working at Logistic Services International full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

I've worked here for over 10 years and it has been a great place. Although people come and go with contracts, a lot of them are happy to come back when there are new wins.

    Cons

Health benefit copays and deductibles have slowly increased over the years.

    Advice to Management

Management seems to be steering the company in the right direction.

I worked at Logistic Services International full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Fixed hours, no overtime, no working weekends

    Cons

Management lacks discipline, direction and efficiency

    Advice to Management

Not sure how to say this but the leadership here is failing on the manufacturing side of the house. Too many negative things to say about the company besides that they started the ESOP for ASI employees after taking over the buildings not on the first day of the year to include those employees into the program, but several days later so that their first year didn't count towards being vested. Sad, very sad.
Now the same people that were on the floor are now running the business side of the house and doing a very poor job but no one cares to hear the complaints from Jax because they are elitists, which works just as well loosing the company millions in business. For instance, we don't have new screws and basic hardware to use. We regularly have to scavenge for parts just to find the correct one. And leads control all the documents and they do a poor job of keeping it current. No drawings, no access to lists, no parts, and no one seems to care. Thank god I don't work there anymore.

I have been working at Logistic Services International full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Relaxed, and they truly look out for the employees.

    Cons

Not much to say, I did not have the best experience starting out. it seems a little hectic at times. I'm not sure if management know what they are doing.

    Advice to Management

They need to look harder at the contracts before they take the money and make sure they plan how they will begin a project.

I worked at Logistic Services International full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The work schedule was about the only positive

    Cons

It's a company that works too much by the "good old boy" system, and not by looking at an employee's skills

I have been working at Logistic Services International full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Work hrs. The app wants me to write more for company pro's of working there but sorry cant find any.

    Cons

Not organized mismanaged, below average pay, bad health benifits package. They don't contribute to dental or vision. Mismanagement of to many areas cut into the already big profits and they feel the need to not take care of the employees with great benifits to save a buck.

    Advice to Management

Hire experience and get inventory and ordering under control. To high of profits not to be paying emp better and offer way better benifits. Companies with far leas profits doing far more for the employees!
