    I worked at Logitech (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Logitech attracts some of the greatest minds and personalities. It's easy to develop high regards and respect for fellow employees

    Cons

    In an effort to keep OpEx low, they are not current on many industry tools especially in the areas of document control and web development.

    Advice to Management

    Better tools help employees work more efficiently and keeps people from leaving to acquire skills to remain marketable.

    I have been working at Logitech full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    The company culture is awesome:
    *The company constantly brings in inspired speakers to motivate employees.
    *Team events
    *BBQ's, Summer Bashes, Winter Ball's (was in a cruise this year for all employees)
    *Bonuses
    *Stocks
    * Great health care benefits
    * The people are awesome
    *The CEO is down to earth
    * No micro-managing
    *I can express ideas freely
    * Managers and Directors give you their trust with your process
    *Great team work day in and out

    Cons

    * No free or reduce price lunches (Meals are very expensive in cafeteria $14+ daily )
    * Multiple depts have been transferred to Ireland making the transition and time difference and process to keep accounts clear a difficult task. No improvements in a year from the new teams in Ireland.
    *Rumors that everything in Finance will eventually move over to Ireland (job feeling unsecured)
    *The pressure is overwhelming and the workload will take away from your personal time

    Advice to Management

    Provide realistic goals and don't burn out the employees you have because this is why they end up leaving. As much as you listen to the ideas, also listen when an employee tells you that they are literally drowning in work. Aside from that _ it is appreciated that you treat and talk to the finance team with respect. Also, would be nice to see the CFO around more often and interacting with all depts in finance. To Bracken (CEO) ... You are awesome, please don't change! ... But also please provide reduce price lunch vouchers happen for us or at least better vending machines with reduced price options for us in finance that stay very late at night and come in on weekends to get the work done.

    Pros

    1. There are tons of other interns at Logitech and many opportunities to network, and hang out. It's a great way to meet new people.
    2. Weekly Lunch & Learns with upper level management + free lunch, these were some of my favorite parts of the program.
    3. My manager and team in my group were great. They were all very supportive friendly and helpful.

    Cons

    1. Generally interns are given a specific project to work on. Sometimes this means you're not working with current employees on ongoing products for the company. However, there are still plenty of opportunities to learn and if you ask your manager they can get you involved with other tasks besides your individual project.

    Advice to Management

    You have a great intern program. I feel like the company valued their interns and tried to make the experience good one.

    Logitech Response

    Sep 26, 2016 – Sr Director, Global Talent Acquisition

    We are so glad you enjoyed your time with us at Logitech! We all get a lot out of the program and the innovation that emerges from our interns' projects and perspectives. Thanks for feeding back. ... More

    I worked at Logitech full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    The Culture and Values were great and the working relationships across functional groups was very positive and productive. Excellent colleagues.

    Cons

    At time of my departure, Management did not have a clue (or din't care) about the employee workload and very little understanding of day to day work details for WW Product launches.

    Advice to Management

    Listen to employees when they are beyond burn-out work load levels. Get a good understanding of the resource impact from late product changes.

    Flexible work schedule. Great employee discount!

    Cons

    More PMs than engineers in the department. Relatively low paid compared to other tech firms. Low advance opportunities.

    Advice to Management

    Lack of guidance from management. Turnover rate has been extremely high. The transition period for outside employees is high. Should consider more promotion internally.
