I have been working at Logitech full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

I have been working at Logitech (More than a year)

    Pros

Great company with a long history.
Current CEO has right ideas and driving them to change the company's culture.
New hires are mostly awesome people and want to make a change.
    Benefits are really competitive

    Cons

Still a lot of old time, old mentality people are present. They are unwilling to move and change to follow the leadership. Unwilling to learn new technologies and collaborate with new hires. Company needs to go through couple more cleaning cycles before it can truly change its culture. Your success really depends on the team you end up at. If it's one of the new fields, you'll be treated very well and given a lot of opportunities... If the field is very established - get ready to learn some old school techniques.

    Advice to Management

Although the new company's culture is "Move fast. Speak up. Decide and own. Drive change..." and so forth, it's impossible to do while decision makers are not willing to listen to new hires, regardless of their experience. Some decisions are not communicated really well and leave employees hanging, like what just happened and what does it mean for me and my career?

I have been working at Logitech full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great products, open culture, progressive practices ... and it's getting cooler and cooler all the time

    Cons

No big negatives, but keep the momentum going ... stay hungry, stay foolish!

    Advice to Management

Absolutely on a great path but please keep it going ... the potential is big

I have been working at Logitech full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Cool products, attempt to create a small company culture, open environment, and great people. We love products and so will you!

    Cons

Sometimes we operate too much like a big company but we are really trying to change. I think our office in Silicon Valley is kind of messy (sorry!) but it's at least really open and fun. Almost all the offices are cool or getting there!

    Advice to Management

Listen to consumers and employees and encourage people to speak up and find challengers to their own ideas. It's the goal but we can't stop the all out effort to do this.

I have been working at Logitech full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great company culture that starts with the CEO and continues through the leadership team. Lots of opportunities to move to new business units and grow new skills.

    Cons

Healthcare plans are so/so. Cafeteria is expensive and there aren't a lot of options nearby.

    Advice to Management

Keep on staying hungry and humble

    Pros

Great CEO that is well liked by almost everyone

    Cons

Horrible finance culture and no career growth in finance; too much drama and self-promotion going on by a select few in finance team

    Advice to Management

    Continue to create great products
Improve finance culture by removing the drama/self-promoters that detract from having a top finance team that would enable Logi to grow faster and more profitably in the the future

I worked at Logitech full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    - work remote benefit
    - 401 k
    - ESPP
    - basic health (dental+vision) insurance
    - design team has great team culture

    Cons

    - old corporation
    - almost no benefits
    - tough commute
    - underpay junior-mid designers
    - no dogs in the office

    Advice to Management

Please consider adding more benefits; with this kind of package, good designers would not give up their comfy SF/bay area lifestyle to work at Newark.

I worked at Logitech full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Everyone I personally met are supportive
    - the culture depends on what team you work for, my team wasn't micromanaging and was very supportive in not only my own growth, but also as a team
    - I had flexibility and freedom to help work on different projects with different departments to keep learning
    - I worked here in my early-mid 20s and it was great! I worked under and with smart people, managers behind prestigious backgrounds and school backgrounds (MIT, Stanford, SJSU, etc.) who taught me that work experience is more important than what school you graduated. All the managers, directors, VPs I met across different departments were so nice and open to making time to meet with me 1-1 to give career advice and talk about how I can grow. They helped introduce me to meet other people in other departments to join projects that I'm interested in.

    Cons

    - i was an intern, went to a contracted position, and then got hired full time and was told it was due to budget reasons from the higher management. Although I did receive insurance while contracted, I didn't appreciate them milking out me and the other intern for at least 6-9 months before we both got hired as full time employees. As a full time, I was compensated at the lower range of the average salary. But a colleague of mine, who had another job offer was able to use that to leverage for a better compensation.

    Pros

    - Super nice people to work with
    - Design-focused culture
    - Bracken is awesome
    - Flexible WFH schedule

    Cons

    - Benefits could be better
    - "Cafeteria" is over-priced and so-so food

    Advice to Management

It would be nice to have cross-business group collaboration more front and center.
