I worked at Logitech full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Fun culture, CEO got to know employees, Company often threw events for employees.

    Cons

Bad work-life balance, Management didn't seem to care sometimes, Favoritism for employees that the management liked, Raises were very lackluster compared to the work done, Management didn't understand the point of software and tried to monetize it in ways that didn't make sense, Often had to stay late into the night because others didn't do their work.

    Advice to Management

I was let go because someone at the top didn't understand the point of software, don't release the wrong people because of that.

    Pros

Nice and talented people and overall good culture, great CEO and he will try to listen every employee's opinion and advice. Good work/life balance.

    Cons

Poor upper management, lack of leadership skills, bully activities allowed, people can't be honest, leaders are given power that can go to their heads and fuel their egos. No annual nor peer review in the system, employee's performance are only based on manager. There is lack of career opportunities because of the poor management.

    Advice to Management

Management level should attend a standard training every year, so they can upgrade themselves and grow with the company.

    Pros

Great people and CEO is very nice and try his best to listen every employee’s advice. Work/life balance. overall culture is good.

    Cons

Management are under trained and not professional. Very political culture, bully activities allowed and there is no annual or peer review in the system, with that say, your performance are all based on what your manager says. Employee are tend to afraid to speak up.

    Advice to Management

Joined management training, please learn how to help all team member grows and collaborate. Set up annual performance and peer performance review in system in order to improve employee understand their strengths and weaknesses, so they have more idea to help position their employee and not just throw them out of the bus.

I worked at Logitech full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - Great work/life balance - Cool consumer products including mice, keyboard, bluetooth speakers, gaming devices, and universal remotes - Accessible CEO (Bracken Darrell) who's positive and inspiring - Medium-size company that has resource but doesn't feel too big - Fun company culture including all-hands meetings, company parties, and events - Nice, down-to-earth, humble, and friendly employees - Company... consists of multiple business units such as gaming, music, video conferencing, or entertainment control that run on their own - Each business unit feels like its own mini-business and you connect with all the folks in your business unit

    Cons

    - Feels like a small accessory company and not a big tech company like Google, Amazon, Apple, or Facebook - General manager for the entertainment control group is very conservative who turns down anything innovative - Management doesn't seem very big thinking or ambitious - Management and employees working at company seem nice but fairly mediocre from a drive and smarts perspective - Not a very innovative... company from a tech standpoint - Tiny budgets to do anything when compared to a bigger tech company - Design group is large and powerful and feels like it runs the company; if you're in Design, its great. If you're not, you feel like they have way too much say

    Advice to Management

I wish you'd be open to bigger thinking and make more bests onto big ideas.

I have been working at Logitech full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    * Small creative team with great culture, management is very inspiring and agreeable * Respected with dignity (most of the time) * Great work-life balance

    Cons

    * Overall company has no culture compared to other tech companies in the bay * Need to work with small budget. It's also the fun of it so not exactly a con.

I worked at Logitech full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

I didn't get an exit interview so here's what I thought about Logitech: - Decent place to start a career if you're lacking experience. Logitech's current environment is collaborative and open so there may be opportunities to work cross functionally. But definitely start looking elsewhere after your first year mark, Logitech does not foster talent or promote within. - Great product discount, this includes... their subsidiaries -- 50% off.

    Cons

    - There are no core values at Logitech. I doubt any current employees can answer what they are. - Compensation is not competitive at Logitech which is insane considering this is Silicon Valley. There is absolutely zero compensation philosophy in this company, you will not get any market adjustments. Most likely you will barely beat inflation each year. - Campus location in worse spots of the Bay Area. This... is just not going to cut it if you're trying to hire talent or work with talent. - Work life balance does not exist in this company. Incompetent people managers shove work down their direct reports throats without trying to push back. There are many departments/areas that are not well-equipped to scale.

    Advice to Management

None of the advice will work if effort doesn't come from top down. Invest in your employees that show passion and are curious to learn. Train your people managers to provide effective 1:1. Re-evaluate your employee engagement surveys (are there any?). Collaborate with HR function to create meaningful programs for employees that foster growth. There's no point in having inspire speaker talks if your current... employees are drowning in work and can't attend.

    Pros

-Great Company Culture that cultivates working together -cool company and products -great benefits

    Cons

-limited work life balance -undefined roles contribute to workplace conflict -e=Entry level contract worker turnover contributes to a lot of duplicate work/excessive handoffs that delay projects -Flat organization focuses on hiring a lot of people that like to develop strategy not do the actual work

    Advice to Management

    - Think about hiring entry level workers that are willing to contribute, learn and execute on the strategy - Keep focusing on developing great products that people love!
