I worked at Logix Communications full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Friendly people, good benefits, quarterly bonuses,

    Cons

Everything seemed to be an expidite. Poor planning from top down

I worked at Logix Communications full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I loved some of the people I worked with and made excellent friends. It was also a great opportunity to network. Logix is a great starting point for new telecomers; a great place to learn the ropes then move on.

    Cons

This place- especially management- is so unprofessional. The rumors and drama made it quite unbearable to stay. I have never worked anywhere that had so much drama.

    Advice to Management

Be more professional. You're the boss.. not a friend/drinking buddy. You have to gain respect to get it from anyone. Don't be so wrapped up in all the drama! Do YOUR job, train, lead, build a successful team.

I have been working at Logix Communications full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Schedule is flexible, now reps can work in the field with their laptops. Salaries recently increased, fiber pricing is more competitive

    Cons

The comp plan is great for sales reps who care more about salary versus sales commissions. New higher quotas are unattainable and commissions have been cut in half. New owners are looking for ways to increase revenue, so cutting sales commissions and laying people off are two popular options lately.

    Advice to Management

You guys are the Smartest Guys in the Room so you must know what you're doing. You're ruining a great company but if you make some $ in the process then I guess you have accomplished your goal.

    Pros

Fellow Employees are awesome. I love working with them.

    Cons

Ownership is Kuwait Government. I hate knowing I work for another government in a country in the middle east.

    Advice to Management

Stop laying people off for your own greedy needs. Ron Henriksen laid off hundreds of people and now the new management is doing the same. We are profitable - give a care!

I worked at Logix Communications (More than 5 years)

    Pros

It was a job that paid the bills.

    Cons

Very good ole boy attitudes. Management micromanaged so much that I sometimes wondered why they even had managers. They were always trying to do the technicians jobs instead of their own. The benefits package was crazy expensive and every year HR would stand up and smile and make excuses as the price went even higher. So basically, every year you took a pay cut and in the several years I worked there, I never received a raise to compensate.

    Advice to Management

Hire some competent managers that will in turn hire some competent employees. THEN let the employees do the work without your constant interference. The CEO of the company Matt Asmus was a pompous idiot.

I have been working at Logix Communications (Less than a year)

    Pros

Company has the strongest Service Level Agreement in the Telecommunications Industry. Leadership is great always willing to help especially Trevor Haworth he runs a tight ship letting you know what he expects from you.

    Cons

Logix Communications footprint for True Fiber Optics is small so you really need to luck out sometimes on finding a location that hasn't already been pitched. Also only Fiber Optics is sold they should at least be selling PBX systems as well.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing the business is growing rapidly for a reason the wright Management is in place where it's needed.
