    QA Tester in Bedford, MA

    I worked at LogixHealth

    Pros

Nice new building Great work space Free parking telecommute Easy commute flexibility in working hours great supervisor Great technology

    Cons

No training sessions No documentation on anything There is a disconnect between upper management and employees Most good roles within the company are outsourced Management not great on following up on projects proposed Limited net access as filter blocks everything resourceful Unfairness in treatment of employees short vacation offers and paid holidays. yes, they work day after thanks giving. Quick to point fingers when something goes wrong. Employees appear depressed and deprived of their work Not to complain but company has no great benefits package and has a sucky health care coverage For QA testing role, not much of a salary to comprehend with given there other companies in the area that pay QA's twice more than what logixhealth offers.

    Advice to Management

Management should try and improve on communication with employees. Treat all employees fairly and promote one on one sessions with each employee. Follow up on projects you propose and reward your employees for the hard work they put in. Company should review and improve on employees salaries. Reason why there are so many empty workspaces in this place is because employees after months of testing waters at this company aren't satisfied with what they have to deal with everyday. Believe company has great potential to grow but thats not gonna happen if you don't inspire or treat your workforce fairly and with dignity. Outsourcing most of the roles in my opinion was a bad move and idea. It creates a sense of insecurity since time and again upper management boasts of cheaper costs. Well if you keep at it, logixhealth might eventually setup shop in india.

I have been working at LogixHealth

    Pros

Easy Interview. Love the co-workers. managers are easy going with calling out. All you have to do is leave a voicemail. Nice modern office.

    Cons

Lack of social time. Calls get to be too much at times. Upper management does not communicate with you face to face much, they only email you with things you shouldn't be doing.

    Advice to Management

Lay back a little and let workers be friends

    I worked at LogixHealth full-time

    Pros

Relatively new building with new furniture. Free parkiing (but not enough) although upper management gets reserved spots (they continually let you know they are more important than other employees) themed staff lunches free popcorn on Wednesdays

    Cons

Upper management is rude and acts superior to the rest of the staff. This actually projects a unprofessional environment. staff treated poorly like you are going to 'cheat' the company. On camera all the time. Can' t talk to anyone or be on the phone or you are questioned - even when it is legitimate business! management should spend more time on their jobs instead of watching cameras and trying to 'catch' people. Managers micro-manage and don't trust the staff. Nepotism like I've never seen before. They hire and fire constantly - not a good sign of a well run company.

    Advice to Management

Managers needs management training. CEO needs to let someone else manage the company. Perks and raises only for the favorites - the company is your entire staff not just management

I have been working at LogixHealth full-time for more than a year

    Pros

there are none place is pathetic nothing to look forward to even Human Resources are a bunch of fools. they hire every uneducated person who applies . Obviously we know the real companies would never take them! so Logix picks up the crap left over. they promote people like fools.

    Cons

This place is a joke!!!!!! The worse place I have ever worked and to top it off this a small unknown company not a corporation. Directors vice presidents and Managers are big fools!!!!. you are not trained and then blamed for all of their mistakes. it is easy to put it off on the poor employee who walks in there blind and with no training, and to top it off I have been working longer in the health field longer than the upper management fools. Clients have no idea that all of their personal stuff are being worked by India. everyone from the 1st floor up to the second floor are plain pathetic fools. Lets see them try to apply to a real job ha! they would never ever get hired!

    I worked at LogixHealth

    Pros

    They offer popcorn on Wednesday's

    Cons

First and foremost, THEY JUST DON'T CARE. When 8 people leave the company over the course of a few weeks, some giving MINIMAL notice, you would think upper management or SOMEONE would wonder what the heck is going on. In leu of raises, they offer 401k, so basically you have to take it in order to get SOMETHING out of the company. There is NO communication. There are very few happy employees. If the CEO cared, he would see that and do something about it. Poker is more important than his employees. Quantity is way more important than quality in their eyes. Everything is being outsourced, but they have NO idea what they are doing. Lots seems to be promised, but no follow through. Honestly I would rather get a raise than see useless stuff being done to the building for appearance. I anticipate it just being a matter of time before this company hits rock bottom.

    Advice to Management

Acknowledge your hardworking employees. Do SOMETHING to show the people that work there are appreciated. Give raises, many people are in need of them. Make quality more important that quantity. Don't make your employees feel like they are just another name in the book.

I worked at LogixHealth full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The one good thing and I say ONE is the flexible hours Logixhealth offers. They seem to be somewhat understanding when one has an appointment and needs to work their hours around the appointment.

    Cons

Logixhealth is all about image, quantity not quality. They show no consideration for the experienced help. All communication is done by emails. I was there over 2 years and never received a review or a raise. They outsource most of their work and the employees basically babysit the outsourcing companies. Their clients have no idea that their work is being outsourced. I lieu of raises they offered 401K, not everyone can afford having more money taken from their wages as their pays are low enough. They announced no raises then promoted 12 upper management so they could get a raise. They have had several layoffs the past 2 years, letting go of many hardworking experienced employees then hired over 100 employees most without any experience and very low pay. There is a lot of clicks and management has their favorites.

    Advice to Management

Communicate with your employees face to face, not always by emails. Show some respect for the hard working employees. Stop spending so much money on image and upper managements furniture, stop complaining about money is tight, no raises then promote those that are already making so much more money than others. Clean house in upper management, not the low paying employees.
