    Pros

Great location in San Francisco. VERY friendly supervisors who are happy to talk to you and actually get to know you. Because the office is so small (two VPs and you + maybe more interns), you get to learn a lot and work closely with the VPs. Great opportunity.

    Cons

The work that you do is not the most exciting stuff. It primarily consists of company research which DOES enable you to learn more about different industries (especially in the start-up field), it gets repetitive and mundane.

    Pros

Great company situated right next to City Hall. Everyone is extremely friendly and easy to speak with. L&P is helping the economy and local businesses tremendously.

    Cons

Coffee machine doesn't work sometimes, but there is not shortage of tea! Honestly, very difficult to think of a negative working here. Morning commutes can be rough considering it is so centrally located.

    Subsidised gym membership
Great opportunities for free meals and visits to hotels and attractions
    Generous holiday allowance

    Cons

Not much movement to allow for progression

I worked at London & Partners full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    - Bright, energetic and pragmatic staff - great to work with and learn from!
    - The organisation provides the opportunity to work fairly autonomously and develop your own networks plus explore projects outside of your role
    - Flexible working policy
    - Good benefits such as generous annual
    - Great location (London Bridge) and offices
    - A concerted effort to create a private sector culture

    Cons

    - Salaries are on the lower end of the average scale
    - Opportunities to progress through the ranks are very limited which is a shame as ambitious people have no option but to leave
    - The company has made laudable efforts to create an inclusive and transparent culture but there is still a lot more to do to ensure everyone feel they can contribute and have a voice

    Advice to Management

    - Spend more time truly listening to your staff outside of KPI discussions
    - Make better attempts to retain good staff

I have been working at London & Partners full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Excellent and enthusiastic team who are committed to finding and showcasing the best London has to offer. The work is varied and interesting.
    - Organisation adapts easily to changes and challenges
    - Great flexible working culture
    - HR spends time understanding challenges throughout the organisation and works hard to find solutions.
    - Excellent, global, networking opportunities.
    - Employees are trusted to carry out their work without micromanagement, which makes instituting better practices possible.

    Cons

    - Middle management team can be intransigent and resistant to change.
    - Salary is less competitive than similar roles elsewhere.
    - Internal mobility is limited.

    Advice to Management

Greater engagement with teams by middle management would go a long way to increasing productivity across the organisation. Less politics at this level would also go a long way to fostering greater collaboration across the organisation rather than pointless competition.
