Pros

Not many pros as each day was filled with dread and disdain for the company.

Cons

Overworked and horribly under compensated. Not paid for hours worked beyond standard 40, though at times you may be working upwards of 60+. Entitled CEO treats staff poorly and blatantly ignored glaring issues brought up to upper management time and time again. Gaining new contracts is the ultimate goal without any thought as to how they will be completed as staff is already so overwhelmed and overworked. Business trips are expected to be paid for by employee and were not reimbursed until months later which requires continuous effort every day trying to chase down proper channels to get reimbursed. Little to no training provided with false claims of an “open and supportive” work environment. No 401K offered. Practically ZERO diversity throughout the different offices; this is definitely not a priority of the company. There is no work life balance priority whatsoever. You are expected to take on work and meet deadlines at all costs even though timelines are unreasonable. Predatory hiring practices where fresh graduates- almost entirely young women- are recruited with the expectation they will put up with the toxic and abusive work environment. No protection for vulnerable junior staff. Read the other negative reviews as they echo strikingly similar experiences. Positive reviews are no doubt written by upper management.

Pros

Everyone below management is great, genuine, and hard-working, but that is the ONLY pro of working there and even then they are losing people left and right.

Cons

Leaving Longevity was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Longevity specializes in transforming ambitious and hardworking new graduates into anxious, disillusioned employees. If you’re considering applying here, I urge you to run—don’t walk—elsewhere. First off, the pay is well below market rate, and there are no promotions or bonuses (at least during my time there). It didn’t matter how hard I worked or how valuable I made myself to the team; I never received more than mere ‘praise’ in a Teams chat. I was there for over a year, and during that time, the headcount halved as people recognized the writing on the wall and left as quickly as possible. With everyone departing, the remaining staff had to take on additional work without any extra pay, promotions, or even recognition for their efforts. Longevity is a frustrating place where hard work feels wasted and employees feel trapped. Additionally, the management team is ill-equipped to guide their staff, leading to poor decision-making and an overall sense of chaos. The CEO is entitled and fosters a hostile work culture that makes you dread coming in each day. It’s disheartening how little they care about employee well-being. To make matters worse, the work itself is incredibly boring. Instead of being challenged, you’ll be stuck in business units you explicitly stated you didn’t want to work in. If you value your sanity and career growth, I highly recommend steering clear of Longevity. It’s an environment that stifles enthusiasm and leaves you feeling trapped and unappreciated. I’m genuinely relieved to have moved on from this toxic place.

Pros

If you enjoy being overworked, underpaid, and utterly disregarded, this is the place for you.

Cons

Longevity Partners is a textbook example of everything wrong with corporate culture. The CEO is an entitled, detached figurehead who is more concerned with expanding his ego than leading a functional company. Leadership is virtually nonexistent, with decisions made from a place of arrogance rather than strategy or empathy. Employees are stretched beyond their limits, with workloads that are unreasonable and unsustainable. Despite promises of growth, there is little to no opportunity for advancement, either vertically or horizontally. The only thing that grows here is your resentment. The company’s complete disregard for work-life balance is appalling. You are expected to work well beyond standard hours with no additional compensation, often pushing 60+ hour weeks. New projects are piled on without consideration of the already overwhelming workloads, and the pressure to meet impossible deadlines is relentless. There is no respect for the personal time or well-being of employees. The company’s supposed “supportive” environment is nothing more than a facade. There is no real training, no support, and certainly no appreciation for the work that gets done under these extreme conditions. The retention rate is abysmal. The best and brightest quickly realize the mistake they’ve made and leave as soon as possible.
