I worked at Longtop as a contractor (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Some vendor companies require a lot of participation outside of work in seminars and workshops. This company did not.

    Cons

No assessments performed, so no performance or merit raises.

    Advice to Management

    None.

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

    The hourly rate is good.

If you work in a vendor capacity, they will retain you (unpaid) when you are between assignments. In other temp agencies, you are dropped the instant the contract expires.

The front office staff is courteous and friendly.

    Cons

They are a temp agency / Microsoft vendor. Most jobs are temporary.

If you are not from India, you can forget about a promotion or a truly permanent position.

Their benefit package is adequate, at best.

    Advice to Management

Diversify so that you are not so dependent on one client (Microsoft).
