    Pros

pay, bonus structure and opportunity for growth is there for those who want to work towards the position. most of the times relocation will be necessary to move up the ladder.

    Cons

hours, benefits. Depending on facility and size, hours can be long and staffing can be difficult in certain markets. Benefits are below average and cost are increasing

    Advice to Management

continue growth and managed pace and ensure staffing and support are addressed when bringing on new large business volumes. Let the District VP have more autonomy in decision makings for their districts.

I worked at Loomis Fargo & Co. (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Most of the other employees are good to work with. Supervisors seem to care a little but could de better.

    Cons

They expect a lot from employees and do not give much back. But then again not many companies do.

I have been working at Loomis Fargo & Co. full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

If you love working with money and in a fast paced environment for alittle more than minimum wage, than it's a great place to work.

    Cons

at the slc location it Max out at 12 a hour. They also don't pay enough or give everyone enough recognition.

    Advice to Management

give people more room to grow, raise the min and max am out for all positions plus make it easier to move up and beable to move up farther than a superviser. Mabey even suggest better jobs for the hard working employees and recognition for perfect attendance!

    Pros

job is relatively close to the house making it a short drive to work. New to the company so obviously there is the early motivation in the hopes of moving up. So far there have been no issues,...so far so good!

    Cons

The pay can definitely be better, especially compared to the competitors. Also, I believe that pay should be based on performance instead of time in service and some of the other methods of paying employees. There are are several small issues but nothing to serious.

    Advice to Management

It is very important to treat all employees equally, It is understood that time in service leading to senority is vital but not in every single situation. For example, someone can be with a company for 8 years but has no ambitions to move up the ladder whereas an employee of 2 years has been humping to move up. Once again, performance based salaries!

    Pros

There is an overall feeling that you are being productive. You are given the freedom to make decisions on your own.

    Cons

Extremely demanding on time. Days averaged 12 hours, and more. You were on call 24/7 and usually got at least one call from corporate on the weekends. You could never reach corporate if you needed to call them back.

    Advice to Management

Our CEO of the US needs to take a hard look at his "district vice-presidents." More than a couple are lacking people skills. Stop MAKING your employees work the ridiculous hours, and show them that you care about something other than the Swedish krona the stock is trading at.

    Pros

Work is fairly easy once you are trained and get the hang of it. Had good teamwork among coworkers. Decent benefits and yearly raises.

    Cons

Chronically understaffed and this is coming from someone that's been there over 5 years. Because you're understaffed you end up working into overtime everyday and cannot leave until ALL the work is done, no matter how much. So give up having a family or social life if you work here.

    Advice to Management

Work harder at getting adequate staffing, especially if you are already understaffed and plan to pick up some new business or customers.
