    "Great Company lacked career development"

    • Senior Management
Former Employee - Division Manager in Newark, NJ

    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

Fair pay for responsibilities, quality: products;marketing programs,;sales resources. Well respected by customers (Wholesale and Retail)

    Cons

Poor development program for competitive personalities who want to continually grow. The low rate of turnover leaves most employees in Field Sales stuck as DM or Sales Reps. Upper management is very tight and you must play politics with the VPs if you want to position yourself in front of the pack rather than by superb performance. You will never receive a superior rating for the top performance raise during reviews, it what you call a White Elephant.

    Advice to Management

Conservative I agree with entirely, the extremely cheap ways you treat your assets in the field outside of regular compensation hurts morale across the board.

    Pros

We'll managed company that still makes a huge profit

    Cons

Being acquired by RJ. 250 year old company gone with the stroke of a pen and millions in the pockets of a few.

    Advice to Management

Compensate employees for cutting off pension benefits
