I have been working at Los Altos Golf & Country Club full-time

    Pros

    Friendly working environment
    Long term commitments
Free Golf on mondays for staff only
    2 annual employee parties (summer/winter)

    Cons

Not equally fair to staff (F&B)
Play favorites to those who snitch on others
Listen to a "trustworthy" employee rather than get opinions/reasoning from both parties
Management overlooks those who work hard and efficiently and promotes/gives raises and or hours to those less worthy of fulfilling the quality of service
Full time staff are limited to flexibility because of the cost of benefits paid out towards benefits.
Family life is expected to take a back seat when it comes to their schedule demands

    Advice to Management

Value your employees, especially those who go above and beyond to meet and exceed the expectations s of members and management. Too many quality employees ha e moved on because of lack of advancements, however watch less qualified, shorter term employees get promoted, with no regard.
