Great salary and benefits. Also the commuter programs are a great. Free public transit makes commuting to work is a great incentive.
Cons
It sometimes feels like the labor unions are running the show. Managers are so afraid of grievances that they let poor performance slide at the expense of others.

Zero flexibility. Full time hours range from 45-60+ hours a week. If you want time off you have to had bid on it the previous year. No flexibility for new hires who paid for travel plans prior to being hired.

Acceptable salary, but doesn't match up with the heavy work Health benefits are better than most entities.

Stressful, toxic environment, heavy workload, and not enough staff Bad behavior is rewarded, or ignored by management. Bad management - shows favoritism, and creates their own problems because of poor decisions. Metro retirees are frustrated because of poor service.
