I worked at Los Angeles part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I worked as an Election Clerk for the City of Los Angeles and one of the things I loved about the job was its location right next to Union Station along with a reimbursement of $50 per month for transit use. The people who were there were great and the job itself paid decent for the type of job it was. From time to time we got free snacks and drinks.

    Cons

Our data entry job was boring and we worked very long hours. We couldn't listen to music or do anything else to make our jobs a little more enjoyable. While we were told ahead of time it was going to be a temporary job, I would've appreciated it if we worked more days and given the sheer amount of work we had to do, we definitely could have.

    Advice to Management

Have us work more days but less hours and overtime. Also allow us to listen to music or something to break up the monotony of the job.
