    Pros

    Excellent benefits, and working conditions, especially in places better than others.

    Cons

    Limited or no overtime available. Some work locations may not be safe to work.

    Advice to Management

    Respect all staff, and avoid having that "holier-than-thou" attitude. It should not matter what position an employee is assigned to, please respect them, and DO NOT MISTREAT THEM!!

    Pros

    Get along with the kids, and start to love them.
    great environment, if you have good co workers.
    sporting events are fun for everyone, so try to get involved in that

    Cons

    Personal days are not usually accepted,
    and TPS could be jerks sometimes.
    favoritism can occur so beware

    Advice to Management

    relax a bit, we are standing for almost four hours, we are bound to sit down when we get tired

    Pros

    Career Path is very good and there is a lot of ways to moving up into management
    Benefits is one of the best I have seen
    Great Location for Public Transportation
    Well known (2nd Largest School District) can be useful on Resume

    Cons

    Salaries have not been increased in the last 7 years (due to State Budget)
    Parking can be painful
    Vistor line and Elevator Line can be extremely long

    urban school district with budget issues, but overall great experience

    can be quite demanding. The workload can be quite demanding. They expect too much from their supervisors. Unrealistic

    don't overload your employees. You expect too much. They tend to put on too much of a workload on their employees.

    Pros

    Great place to work. Friendly people. Great hours, because school hours are typically earlier in the work day, so it's good for avoiding traffic.

    Cons

    Occasionally politics may get in the way. If you reach the top of the salary scale in your classification, that's it. No bonuses or annual evals for raises.
