I have been working at Lot18 full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great work culture. I feel at home here, and the ability to taste different wines daily is a plus.

The people here are very intelligent, good at what they do, and friendly.

Frequent, fast-paced learning and growth opportunities.

    Cons

Long hours (typical of any start-up though)

Missing a lot of infrastructure, so some teams have difficulty balancing day-to-day tasks that could (and probably should) be automated with the long-term projects that will help the company grow.

High turnover in recent months, but that seems to have calmed down.

    Negative Outlook

    Pros

The only pro was that before they axed everyone with talent and passion earlier this year, they had talented and passionate people working for them. And they do sucker people in with ample salary.

    Cons

The new leadership there has their horse blinders on and managed to make decisions within a week that will essentially drive 2 years of hard work and actually making a profit into the ground. The only people left after the recent bloodbath are just yes people. I feel bad for their investors (wait, no I don't)

    Negative Outlook

    I worked at Lot18 full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

You might work with few of the people that actually know what they are doing.

    Cons

CTO/CEO are playing favorites when hiring people. Marketing department is filled with CEO's friends who are wasting thousands of dollars. CTO hired friends that failed interview process.

Board hired VP of Engineering that is not qualified to run the engineering department.

    Advice to Management

    Too late.
