I have been working at Louis Dreyfus Company full-time for more than a year

    Pros

LDC really walks the walk when it comes to the safety of their employees. They offer very competitive salaries and benefit packages. The management team is dedicated to eliminating barriers for employees to ensure work is being performed in a safe and productive manner.

    Cons

The type of business they do can sometimes be monotonous and present little challenges day to day. Additionally, they are behind the ball on some modern technological advancements that could really help them become more sustainable in their initiatives.

    Pros

Learned a decent amount about cash and derivative trading

    Cons

Company was too political and often lost sight of the ultimate goal of making money and creating value for shareholders. Management often would be unwilling to make the tough and hard decisions

I worked at Louis Dreyfus Company full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

They have a Multi Year re-platforming project going on, and are using exciting technologies for the rewrite. Management in Memphis and CT are truly the best! If you get to work in France, they appear to be growing a lot. Best benefits in Memphis.

    Cons

Service Now(SNOW = SLOW). Different IT teams put up walls so it makes it harder to get things done. IT teams do not work together very well if at all. A lot of duplicated efforts in systems across the world. Pay is not on track with Memphis market. You will work over 40 hours a week. Your location will determine your experience, but out of all locations Memphis is the best.

I have been working at Louis Dreyfus Company

    Pros

Really hard to say other than some of the people there. Memphis is a great office, though!

    Cons

It’s all about relationships here. Nothing makes sense. It’s a high school style management to managers who love drama. Office politics doesn’t begin to describe what it’s like here. Stay away
