I have been working at Lowe's full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Flexibility within scheduling and pay rate varies, holiday celebration and dress code, that's about all the pros of Lowe's as an employer

    Cons

Infrastructure of management is horrible, not enough trained employees to use necessary equipment, favoritism is highly displayed, hardly got bonuses , not concerned with needs of employees,

I worked at Lowe's as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Friendly team who is willing to help you and provide you with the right resources to accomplish your tasks.

    Cons

I can't think of any, but you need to step up your game and read lots of previous emails and documentations in order to be on the same page with the Team.

    Advice to Management

    Keep the good work.

I have been working at Lowe's full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Health benefits, 401K, Direct Deposit

    Cons

You will never see your family. Your life belongs to Lowes from 6am til 11pm. There is no structure to work schedules, you will be yawning at work and home with the chaotic, flip flopping work schedules.

    Advice to Management

Create a structured work schedule that is better for work/life balance. Stop changing the hours so drastically day to day and week to week. You don't work those crazy hours, why do you make your employees work/live that way?
Rating of CEO and Management is low because of the uncare you give to work schedules and creates an unproductive work environment.

    I worked at Lowe's full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Some stores can be flexible with school schedules.
Not your typical low-commitment retail atmosphere. Employees seem to view their employment there as more of a career.

    Cons

Limited support/training from managers. Management would push me to offer Credit Card applications and other promotions to customers, sometimes this bordered harassment and made shoppers feel uncomfortable.

    Advice to Management

Try to be flexible with hours. As far as the Credit Card thing goes... In general, employees care about our customer and don't want to harass them. Encourage employees to identify customers who would benefit from the credit program before approaching them.

    I worked at Lowe's full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Some managers are good and understand the design process...some are just not. Product is good quality.

    Cons

Too difficult to provide good customer service with all of the constant interruptions.

    Advice to Management

Set up a design space that is private for the designers. Fewer mistakes would be made.
