    Pros

    Having food they gave discount were really friendly made you feel right at home not an outcast.

    Cons

    Costomers were sometimes out of hand hours were really hard to move around

    Be sure to be nice to employes understand them always teach new things or tactics and lighten up

    pros are they will let you get experience in all departments, not many other pros than that

    Cons

    low pay, no set schedule, customers treat you horrible as well as the managers above you

    Advice to Management

    there seems to be a lot of favoritism that goes on.

    Good opportunities available for anyone dedicated and willing to put in the work and make the customer first.

    Lot's of varied hours are required which makes it hard for a single parent or other commitments to work around.

    I have been working at Lowe's part-time

    Pros

    I have nothing to say

    Cons

    I left a job to come to Lowes and I told them what hours I could work. And they said my job
    description was the same and the hours would be the same. They changed everything after
    I signed the acceptance. I was so depressed that I quit a job thinking Lowes would be better.
    I could not get my job back and I could not get unemployment. Felt very mislead. And this was the second time this had happened to me at Lowes. Never would I work for them. My job was supposed to be 9-6pm They had me coming in at 6 in the morning. I could not do it. I told them
    I was not happy. They said we want you in the position we want. End of Story.

    Advice to Management

    Listen to your employees. Maybe this is why you have a 40% turnover.

    Pros

    a local job near where you live, an occasional discount on products.

    Cons

    impossible managers, tasks, and incompetent hires make you work 3x what they pay you for. little internal promotion, and constant write-ups and disciplinary policy. managers do little and know less often relying on the sales specialists to handle all problem issues.

    Advice to Management

    get back to what the store hired when they first opened, competent and well trained employees.
