I have been working at Lowes Foods part-time

    Pros

Better than AVG pay Awesome work environment Variety in job (not very monotonous)

    Cons

Occasionally disorganized on the front end.

    Advice to Management

Organization of other duties (Chores) is extremely disorganized. You cannot complain that we don't get them done when the spreadsheet you give is exceedingly confusing. Efficiency would go up 200% if you would just fix that.

I have been working at Lowes Foods part-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

"fun" culture, good ideas, interesting concept

    Cons

too many damn chicken dances ignorant management clueless key holders low pay long hours they cut a lot of corners

    Advice to Management

Get a clue. Go back to the beginning and start over again. Do you even want to be there? It shows. Playing favorites is killing the business and the store. A little respect goes a long way. Employees don't stay around when being disrespected. Several departments could flourish if the management style wasn't "high school drama". STOP CUTTING CORNERS!!!

I worked at Lowes Foods part-time

    Pros

there is nothing good about working for this company.

    Cons

They over hired too many people and stopped giving myself (and several other people any hours at all. The people i worked with were not very friendly or easygoing at all.

    Advice to Management

dont hire too many people when a store opens. Talk to your employees if you are going to stop giving them hours.

I have been working at Lowes Foods

    Pros

Part time employee benefits like dental are the best thing! I love being able to pay pennies per paycheck and getting great benefits. I also love the comradery between everyone in the store. I truly believe that it makes everyone better at their own personal jobs because we are all friends and work well together.

    Cons

I can't think of an cons at this time except I would like to be able to have team meetings every so often to go over what our managers would like us to do such as the front end has a meeting time and the deli has a meeting time and so on. I think that it would be a great asset to the store as a whole and also everyone would be on the same page.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work!
