Guaranteed Autonomy that Comes with Success (Unlimited PTO)
    Full Desk Recruiting
    Chasing a Challenge

    Average to Above Average Benefits

    Cons

*The training program lacks charm, creativity and is tremendously dull. (90 Hours Live attached to your phone, gathering an insiders perspective on the business of recruiting-Sounds Exciting!)*

    Advice to Management

The IT is outdated, and 30 days of 7 hr conference calls is excessive.

    Pros

Decent job if you don't mind working for a company that does not care for it's employees, treats them as idiots, micromanages and oversees constantly, provides no support, poor technology, actively seeks to manage by bashing it's frontline.

    Cons

The management team is extremely unprofessional. You will be hounded and held accountable for any and all mistakes you may make while being asked to have high call times and without any support. This will occur while management will spend most of their days hanging over you joking about their wonderful lives yet will actively discourage any conversation among cubical neighbors.

The favorites game is played hard on this team. If you're a member of the select few then more opportunities come your way. It's not enough to be a hard worker who keeps their head down, you must also constantly stroke the egos of the man-babies who oversee you.

This company is really cheap and refuses to offer good wages for frontline . It becomes blatantly obvious within the first year of working here how little the upper management of the company cares for its employees.
If nothing else, people constantly quitting speaks volumes to the caliber of upper management and employee value.

    Advice to Management

If you treated your average employee half as good as you treated your management, employee satisfaction would go way up! The people are the most important part of any business, so take care of them.

I have been working at Lucas Group (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    - Unlimited income potential
    - Flexible work/life balance
    - Divisions allow for functional and industry expertise
    - Casual Dress
    - Vacation policy
    - Annual President's Club Meeting in Dallas and 5-Star All Inclusive Sales Trips (Jamaica, Riviera Maya, Cabo, etc.)
    - Senior leadership tend to be home grown
    - Well respected in marketplace (helps with business development, and marketing leads)
    - Offices are well position geographically
    - Initial training program helps rookies
    - Special recognition for milestone anniversaries. Company also gives you a Rolex after 15 years
    - Compensation plan is fair (draw, commissions, bonus, profit sharing, etc.)
    - Culture is top notch

    Cons

    - It is a commission sales job. If you do not work hard and perform well, you will be disappointed with your income
    - Currently going through growing pains with technology but corporate seems to be working hard to improve systems
    - Company works hard to develop rookie recruiters but veterans can plateau if you are not self-motivated

    Advice to Management

Continue doing what you are doing, the culture here is great. Keeping training and development at the forefront of your mind with a targeted approach to different groups (i.e. rookies, veterans, high-pots, etc.)

I have been working at Lucas Group full-time

    Pros

I joined Lucas Group in 1999 with no prior experience in executive search, the Managing Partner gave me the opportunity to prove myself. I'm glad he did. This company has honestly changed my life! The leadership team provides us with everything we need to be best in class!

    Cons

I honestly can't think of any. When I get calls from other Headhunters trying to get me to join their firm, I just tell them that I can't imagine why I'd leave Lucas Group, I have everything I need/want right here.

    Advice to Management

Keep on being awesome and supporting us with great marketing, technology (OK, we could use a little boost on the technology side), training and perks! #ILOVEINCENTIVETRIPS
