I have been working at Lucas Group full-time

    Pros

No other sales job better than here. Lucas Group truly believes in family first. They allow you to have a geat work life balance. Don't get me wrong, the solid producers work hard. You are given all the tools and support to be successful. Every recruiter has a LinkedIn Recruiter account and two computer monitors. No secret to be successful here. We help companies hire great talent and help great talent with their careers through caring about their needs. Also, training is great, even for seasoned recruiters.

    Cons

Waiting for new CRM to be installed in 2018. At times competing with management on filling positions. One more computer monitor would be nice. 😊

    Advice to Management

Managers should train and lead. When managers are recruiting, they are not training and developing.

I have been working at Lucas Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The culture in the New York Office is great. It is truly an amazing group of people that makes you want to come to work everyday. In the business of recruiting, that is not something you can find everywhere. The group is very team-oriented, and always willing to help someone even if they are not on their team.

    Cons

The CRM is older but a new system is being implemented in the coming months.

    Advice to Management

The leadership team in NY is a great one and I think any salesperson or recruiter would love working for them. The office is going to continue to grow, and I am sure the leadership team will do their part to help people continue to develop.

I worked at Lucas Group full-time

    Pros

Allowed to manage own desk and clients. But have to go somewhere else or on your own to make real money. They take too high of a cut.

    Cons

Managers without solid recruiting experience (mine came from a payroll department), very low commission, starts at 35%, compared to competitors. Many layers to get questions answered, job orders are lost bc it can take a week to get a fee agreement in place.

    Advice to Management

Hire recruiters who can also manage, bring up commission rates to attract talent. Stop hiring recruiters with zero experience or experience in the industry in which they are recruiting.
