I have been working at Ludvik Electric full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great coworkers, they used to have a lot of knowledge from predecessors, start you out at top pay but go without raise for years

    Cons

Owner says everyone is replaceable and thinks since he gave you a job that you don't deserve a merit increase, cfo will yell and cuss you out for minimal things, they lost 2 hr directors, 2 construction managers and 10 project managers and coordinators in the last year that equals over 75 years of knowledge of the industry gone. No respect and no value. The workload is overloaded since everyone left. The president doesn't have a say in anything that will benefit the longevity of the company. Owner said he's going to retire for the last 3 years. They request that their office personnel write good reviews.

I have been working at Ludvik Electric full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great company to work for because they practice a top down approach to communication and show a commitment to the well being of their employees.

    - Senior Management: Some of the smartest and patient mentors in town.
    - Forward thinking: Use of latest technologies in preconstruction and project management.
    - Young professionals: Interns, graduates, and employees in their 30's.
    - Re-pay loyalty: respect knowledge and skills that increase business.
    - Relaxed company culture for work/life balance.
    - Company outings: team-building events, picnics, Christmas party.
    - Good benefits and compensation package.

    Great teams, with great leadership.

    Cons

The only downsides to Ludvik are shared throughout the construction industry.

    - Deadlines drive long hours.
    - There are always a few bad apples in every company, best to ignore them.

Honestly, I've been working here over a year and can't find any negative points.

    Advice to Management

    Stimulate growth, give more responsibilities.

I worked at Ludvik Electric full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Challenging and diverse projects, good benefits with excellent pay, a great training ground, Some very technically proficient and industry orientated individuals.

    Cons

Understaffed, antiquated business practices, poor culture, lacks a plan and resources to negotiate and close good local work, several succession plans have continually failed to gain traction over the last decade, too much employee turnover.

    Advice to Management

Top down reorganization with the vision and leadership that reflects the wisdom of past successes. Today, leadership is marginal, lacks the vision, drive, and presence to lead the organization.
