I worked at Lugera & Makler full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Working on various projects, so you gain experience in different areas.
    Very nice colleagues, friendly.
    Opportunities for advancing

    Cons

Bad management, they don't offer support to employees.
It's all about cost saving, are expecting high results but aren't willing to invest.
High turnover, most of the teams change yearly.
Poorly paid, a lot of unpaid overtime, not a doable comission scheme.
They don't invest in people, generaly hire unexperienced people, because in cheaper.

    Advice to Management

Invest in training and in people
Align with the salaries from the market

I have been working at Lugera & Makler full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Complex database of candidates and professional working procedures
    - Various recruitment projects, from unskilled workers to management positions
    - Great team, young and supportive people
    - Dynamic environment
    - Great management in the central region branches, who gives you flexibility and liberty in making decisions and handling situations, and also advice and support when you need it

    Cons

    - Small salaries, below the medium in this field
    - Little investment in training and development of employees
    - Poor communication between headquarters and the other branches, with no involvement in decisions that affect all employees
    - Large fluctuation of staff, especially at headquarters

    Advice to Management

    - Invest more in people, in their values and their professional skills
    - Make an effort to create the proper environment for bilateral communication and finding solutions together
    - Appreciate people who bring results. An unfair bonus scheme won't solve the issue of performing employees leaving the company

    Pros

You can get the chance to meet lots of new and interesting people if your secondment is project based like mine was.

    Cons

Lugera & Makler isn't preocupied about your time spent at the employer that you have been outsourced. Also, you don't have any compensations or benefits such as private health insurance or meal tickets.

I worked at Lugera & Makler full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Was a decent way to learn recruitment years ago.
You'll learn how to properly wear a shirt & tie. Sigh.

    Cons

Very low salary by local industry standards.
No growth opportunities and ancient performance evaluation methods. You'll also never get to implement your ideas.
Very few smart people & poor collaboration between departments. It's a cutthroat environment, where mediocrity is promoted by the management. They favor poor performers, who just want to hang on to their chair, instead of smart and effective employees.
There is high attrition, based on publicly available Linkedin data.
Management has a conservative approach and poor vision of recruitment and can't adapt to the new trends in the industry. It imposes an authoritative style, where volume of work generated is more important than overall results and key partnerships with clients. So there's a strong preference for manual repetitive tasks instead of automating yourself out of admin duties and focusing on the most important parts of a project. And you are expected to succeed without the right tools for the job.
At the end of the day, it's a very stressful work environment. I've seen former colleagues having health problems and hitting walls in their careers for the long time spent there. Really, move along, as there is nothing for you in this company.

    I worked at Lugera & Makler part-time

    Pros

Team building activities organized, a company that has established values.

    Cons

All processes are on Recruitment and Selection, and Personnel Administration. The company had made a lot of investments in the boom period, and it was noticed once the financial crisis took place.

    Advice to Management

    Better finantial predictions.

    Pros

Great, young colleagues. Cheerful atmosphere, Lugera is a place where you can find all the support that you need to learn and grow.

    Cons

Extremely low salary, you cannot stick around for a long period.

    Advice to Management

Show your appreciation to the hard working ones and pay more money, otherwise anyone is going to look for another job in maximum 1 year.
