    Pros

Luidia was working on a very interesting product, especially interesting for someone who enjoys GUI-intensive multi-platform development.

    Cons

It was a very strangely managed development effort. It was supposed to be Agile-Scrum, but the target kept changing so that it was only waterfall in the end.

    Advice to Management

I believe that management has made changes since I left.

    Pros

Product is very viable and should be used in all aspects of business / education.
location is fairly convenient, Atmosphere use to be excellent and there is room for much improvement. Product quality is very good, Minimal returns.

    Cons

No one has been able to find a consistant method to sell this product. And lord knows there have been plenty of individuals that have tried.
Too many dreamers and not enough looking at the product that is right in front of their eyes.

    Advice to Management

Dont think so large at this time. Find a plan that ALL of you agree on and then execute. Target a couple markets to infiltrate. This product is viable. SURVIVE

    Pros

The products that Luidia creates are amazing, they work perfect and the people at Luidia are some of the most genuine and smart people you will meet. The company culture is very mellow and calm and free lunch Friday's are a perk many love.

    Cons

Management has been doing the same thing years and has little desire to take any input to change or improve. Turnover is extremely high and four to six people a month average come and five to six go and for an eighty person company this is very high. People get hired and never show for their first day and many people are overworked and lack direction in their jobs. Most jobs don't have job descriptions and the feeling in company culture is to be fluid and figure things out while you go along.

    Advice to Management

Speak to the people who do the jobs, find out what it is they do, and work with the employees to improve the structure. The products are great, the culture is great but having no direction from the top is a long term problem. Change the pay structure to be commensurate with the industry, make HR changes, and pay people what you promise.
